We strongly believe in the power of group music-making activities to facilitate new connections between people, break down social barriers and help members of our local community become active citizens. We see first hand the power music has to reduce loneliness and improve the physical and mental wellbeing in our participants. We have established several groups and projects with the core concept of bringing people together through music, working with practitioners and partners that share this belief. We work tirelessly to create projects and sessions that are open to anyone who wants to make music by arranging accessible musical arrangements in-house, working with community partners to engage those in need and run a variety of different groups to suit the varied style of different musicians within the community.

ESF provides centres of academic excellence where staff and students alike have the opportunity to realise their full potential.The vision for Emmanuel Schools Foundation (ESF) came originally from Sir Peter Vardy, John Burn OBE, Michael (now Lord) Bates, and a small number of other pioneers. They were inspired to use a government initiative in the late 1980s to found new schools with a Christian ethos in the most disadvantaged areas in the North of England by drawing on the expertise of successful business leaders. They saw an opportunity to build schools where the pursuit of academic excellence would go hand in hand with the development of character. The achievements of students in the schools of the Emmanuel Schools Foundation – and the reputation that ESF alumni would go on to acquire – has since born out their conviction that these two goals are inextricably linked.

The Lumbini Academic College (LAC) is an institution dedicated to higher education suitable for the 21st century. It is one of three educational institutions established and flourishing under the umbrella of the Lumbini Academic Foundation (LAF). LAC is set in a serene atmosphere at Chuchchepati, Chabahil. It provides personalized instructions in its regular basic education programs from pre-school to high school and university level education to a limited number of students using prescribed curriculum and materials. The LAF is guided by a concept for the need of an affordable educational institution which can offer education to pupils of different age groups and grades. A high academic standard is a priority for our school and it is being achieved through a body of well trained and highly qualified teachers. Our team of teacher is properly and actively assisted by the services of a dedicated and much disciplined body of administrative and technical staff. Pelican is dedicated to helping those with cancer live well for longer. We achieve this by supporting medical research and education to improve the treatment of bowel cancer and its associated secondary disease, particularly in the liver. Surgery remains the most effective cure for bowel cancer and we focus on diagnosis and surgery. Pelican has become a ‘centre of excellence’ for sharing life-saving, life-enhancing knowledge and skills with cancer specialists.

The Lewis Dunne Foundation (LDF) provides a community centred approach to children, young people and families. Following the devastating loss of wholly innocent Lewis who was killed by a single shotgun blast as he walked along the Liverpool - Leeds canal in Eldonian Village, Liverpool. At the time Lewis had planned to meet a friend on the night of 15th November 2015. LDF was set up to combat the exploitation and recruitment of Children and Young People into criminal behaviour. LDF aims to restore safer communities that develop Young People who are socially aware and make positive decisions. The Children, Young People and Families across Merseyside are challenged at a local level, where vulnerable and exposed young people are engaging with LDF through the awareness of Gun, Knife and Drug crime. Work is already being conducted with at risk young people who share an openness and key indicators of criminal exploitation. Drawing focus and attention to the negative impact this has on individuals, families and whole communities.
