Crazy 4 KidsWe are currently open on all nursery and Out of School Club sites. Crazy 4 Kids has invested in anti-virus units (Hextio Units) across all sites to help keep the environment safe for staff and children. These units are not a cure for COVID-19 but another layer of protection for the setting along with strict cleaning routines and COVID-19 monitoring. Crazy 4 Kids are committed to creating a ‘clean air’ environment. Crazy 4 Kids was established in 2009, but my passion for children and making a difference started in 1988 when my own children started pre-school and I became a parent helper and realised, that I loved working with children! From that moment on, I have never stopped working toward making a difference for children and their families and was very excited when I opened my first Out of School club in 2009. Crazy 4 Kids now has 6 sites, facilitating approximately 500 families with children aged 6 months to 11 years and a dedicated team of professionals who are equally passionate and want to ‘make a difference’ to children’s lives. Gemini was founded in 2008 by Jodie McRae, working together with her sister Lucy to provide dance classes for the community. We aim to bring each student to a professional dance level as well as enhancing their confidence and wellbeing. Each student is valued for their individuality and encouraged to reach their full potential in a creative and friendly environment. Since opening, Gemini has successfully recruited more than 200+ students with the intention of encouraging more students to take up after school activities. The name Gemini represents Jodie’s Star Sign and is symbolised by twins. Sisters Jodie and Lucy known to family and friends as “The Twins”, are the principals of Gemini School of Dance. Gemini offers professional tuition in a vast range of dance styles and disciplines, across all levels of experience for both Boys & Girls. Our dance styles include; Street Dance, Boys Hip Hop, Baby & Toddler, Pre-school, Commercial, Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Singing, Cheer Dance, Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Gymnastics, AcroDance and Adult classes. Additionally, Gemini is available to provide entertaining lessons at parties and provides a range of themed classes. Our Classes Footstars run morning and afternoon sessions, 6 days a week. We host sessions across the Aberdeen/Shire area and our classes cover an age range of 2-7 year olds. We’re very proud that a large portion of our player base not only complete their term, but stay with us year after year. We regularly have children who join our classes at 2 years old and continue their journey with us all the way through to the 7 year old classes! If you want to get stronger, more flexible, learn some cool new tricks and become part of an amazing gymnastics community, then you've come to the right place. Jaybee was established 18 years ago by Julie Ewenson who had always had an interest in gymnastics. With her 2 daughters training at elite level Julie decided to begin to build a club and a gym family for recreational gymnasts. Her aim was to get more children involved in fun gymnastics. She began in a small hall with 3 classes a week,. 18 years later Jaybee are one of the most successful clubs in the area with an incredibly strong elite team, 10 floor and vault squads, 4 pre-school classes and almost 20 recreational sessions throughout the week. We offer before and after school clubs to many of the schools within the borough of Havering which have been going for well over 20 years! At Jaybee we offer 1 hour recreational classes throughout the week and over the weekend where gymnasts are able to learn skills on apparatus such as floor, vault, bars, beam and trampette. We are also lucky enough to have an air track at both venues where all of our gymnasts get to bounce and learn to tumble. Our gymnasts are invited to take part in our annual in-house competition which is always fun, friendly, well organised and encourages light hearted competition. At Jaybee we pride ourselves on a friendly and fun environment for our gymnasts. Cambridge Gymnastics Academy CIC is a non-profit organisation, which was founded in May 2012. The company Director Kayleigh Plaza, had a vision to provide affordable gymnastics for all, no matter age, gender, income or ability/disability. The club has since evolved and with an incredibly dedicated staff team, together fundraised, saved and received grants from both the Council and Sport England totalling £250,000. In May 2016, CGA opened its doors to a dedicated facility at North Cambridge Academy. CGA prides itself on being a hub for the community. Sessions are available from 6 week old babies to adult, from recreational to elite, with the lowest priced classes in the area and we even offer a 10% discount for people on means tested benefits. After our pre-school classes, we offer free refreshments so families can build relationships with others. We offer classes for minority groups such as women’s only, over 50’s and specially designed disability sessions. We are an inclusive club, so in the evenings children with disabilities join in with our normal recreational sessions. We deliver curriculum support to the NCA students and run a youth night on a Friday evening to provide local young people with a safe environment. In 2017 our success & hard work was recognised by British Gymnastics and we were selected as 1 of 3 clubs in the whole of the UK to be shortlisted for the award ‘British Gymnastics Club of the Year’. Following this success CGA were also awarded the 2017 winners of the ‘Living Sports Community Club of the Year’ fighting off strong competition from sports clubs across Cambridgeshire. Both huge achievements for the club. The club is a registered member of both British Gymnastics and Eastern Counties Gymnastics Association and has a number of fully qualified coaches & judges up to National Level who are DBS checked, safeguard & first aid qualified.
