Hi! I’m Nicola and I am the founder of Little Love Harts. I am a certified Blossom and Berry Baby Massage and Baby Yoga instructor and a qualified Hypnobirthing Instructor with The Calm Birth School I also hold as BSc in Social Science and have always been interested in people, other cultures, why they do things & how they benefit both families and society. I am married to Andy have a little boy Hugo R Hart our very own HRH – he is both my why and how for becoming a Baby Massage, Baby Yoga and Hypnobirthing instructor. I loved Hypnobirthing and the tools it taught me to prepare for a safe, empowering and positive birth. Despite our birth not going to what we had ‘planned’ or rather what my first preference was, utilising the tools and techniques my husband and I had learnt through Hypnobirthing we were able to have the best birth ever!! Like many I found the first few months of motherhood very overwhelming – my world flipped 180 in both an amazing and positive way – which obviously I am so grateful for, but also in a scary and at times, lonely way. In having my son I both lost myself and found myself all at the same time… My aim with Little Love Harts is to give the tool for safe, empowered and calm births and to teach parents that they are enough for their baby, yes read the books, yes seek advice from family, friends and when needed professionals – but always know that you are all your baby needs. At Little Love Harts I the importance of love and connection through nurturing touch, massage & yoga to help babies and children reach their full potential & make the world abetter place. My mission is to grow babies with love, touch, responsive care and positive interaction. Little Love Harts aim is to create nurturing experiences for all parents and babies to deepen their connection and confidence. I want to make sure that parents feel nurtured and in turn get the space and tool to nurture their babies in a loving and supportive environment. My classes are an inclusive, accepting, welcoming and safe space for all. I am committed to promoting the wellbeing of parents and babies through the provision of inclusive, educational and supportive classes and services. I will welcome you with a smile, listen to yours and baby’s needs, hold space for you when you need it and give you the tools to bond, soothe, relax and aid your baby’s development – be this at the Little Love Harts studio or via Zoom. I also provide several free services in the Colchester area, to help parents connect such as coffee and catch ups, buggy walks and online community to share and exchange ideas. I can’t wait to meet you, your birth partner and if they are already earth-side your baby! I will share the tools I have learnt through Hypnobirthing, Baby Massage and Baby Yoga to connect with your baby and teach them love, nurture and some amazing techniques to aid both their mental and physical development!

YogaSpace Yorkshire is a unique yoga and pilates studio space in North Yorkshire offering a timetable of midweek classes, and at the weekends we hold residential retreats, day workshops, and women’s circles and gatherings. YogaSpace Yorkshire has two beautiful studios for hire as a day or residential retreat space Studio Bhakti in the East Wing of the house Studio Ananda in the West Wing of the house. We offer midweek Kundalini yoga Vinyasa Yoga and Pilates classes We also offer sound baths, gong baths, and workshops Visit our full timetable to find your class. Residential retreat capacity. Catered Retreat Hire: main house only the main house = 12 plus one teacher =13 Self-catering (enquire) – 10 students if all able to share king/double beds, as well as twin beds, using our self-catering cottages and one house en-suite room. We only do self-catering retreats where the cottages are hired and used as your food area. Or, use as 5 singles in the cottages and one yoga teacher capacity in a single house room. Catered vegan or vegetarian retreats – Whole site hire, cottages plus main house, – all sharing rooms – could be…19 in total. However, your hire number depends on your studio capacity needs. We host studio capacity up to 16 – this is a personal choice by each teacher, some prefer 12/14. What is our USP? When you come to Patrick Brompton Hall, either to a class, workshop, or on a residential retreat, you are welcomed into a family home that embraces wellbeing and creative activities in a beautiful space. The main part of the house was built in 1703 in the period of Queen Anne and is a Grade II listed Historic House. Well-being and creativity are the perfect blends for such a grand old dame of a house. She has been opening her doors for 316 years to everyone who knocks.

Our aim has always been to promote a positive, healthier and more peaceful existence for adults and children alike, giving back to the community by channeling resources into good causes. The Nest Southwest is a not-for-profit, social enterprise, community interest company. It was set up in Devon by local women to support other women and girls through the major life transitions of menstruation, pregnancy, birth and menopause by providing social, emotional and informational support. Our Vision & Mission Our vision is to live in a world where women and girls feel empowered and fulfilled at each stage of their life. We want to be part of creating a cohesive society where these rites of passage are honoured as gateways of personal development as well as biological milestones. Our mission is to provide social, emotional and educational support, to improve well-being and self-esteem. We support women, girls and people who menstruate through menstruation, pregnancy, childbirth, and menopause. We believe in intersectional feminism by promoting gender justice and racial justice. We are anti-racist and pro-trans rights. We believe in equality for all genders. We offer compassionate peer support, and provide a safe, nurturing environment to explore emotional and physical literacy as we pass through these rites of passage. There is no right or wrong way to go through these gateways, they are as individual as we are. But we don’t have to do it alone. What a different place our world will be if we felt belonging, supported, and respected as we welcomed ourselves to the next stage of life! Our History The seeds of this dream had been swirling for some years before finding a place to land. The Nest was officially registered as Community Interest Company in October 2019 by Hazel Acland, Jodie Wilkerson and Nancy Osborne. Together they launched their first project in March 2020 just as the covid-19 pandemic was sweeping the world. Plans quickly adapted to this new reality and became a weekly online wellbeing group to bring together pregnant and birthing people in the Exeter and East Devon area. The group has evolved to create a perinatal peer support network, training mums to support other mums through matrescence from pregnancy to parenting. The Nest has grown in other areas as well – starting to deliver services around menstruation and menopause support, with much more in the pipeline! Equality We aim to create a safe and welcoming atmosphere. We want to challenge all forms of oppression including those based on race, ethnicity, nationality, faith, gender, sexuality, learning ability, physical impairment, mental illness, age, occupation, income, or wealth. We aim to design our activities, services and decision making processes specifically to encourage and support participation from people who face disadvantage in society, including women, girls, BME people, disabled people, LGBTQI+ people, and people on low incomes. Safeguarding The Nest Southwest CIC is fully committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults. We believe that safeguarding is of paramount importance and that everyone has the right to be safe. We work hard to ensure that The Nest protects and promotes the safety and well-being of all children, young people and adults we work with. All our team members are trained in safeguarding and child protection and have valid DBS checks. The Nest has a designated safeguarding lead who oversees and regularly reviews our training requirements and safeguarding policies.
