Elite Cricket Performance Academy is a learning space for Youths to attend high standards of Cricket using new techniques and technology through a continual, structured improvement process. Our primary objective is to complement the excellent work undertaken by Schools, Clubs, Districts and County programmes in the delivery of high-quality cricket coaching. Our experienced, industry professional coaches are passionate about delivering the best for our students, ensuring that we can enhance their play to reach their optimal potential. Our services are tailored to suit the students and our structured, long term programmes are available during evenings, weekends and school breaks, accommodating for all. Elite Cricket Performance Academy has been formed by a group of experienced coaches who have worked in multiple County pathways, providing a broad scope of instruction and practice for the players. Our goal is to create a positive learning environment for players and help them play to their strengths, work on their weaknesses and understand ‘their game’ in depth. As an Academy, our fundamentals for the sport are derived from Biomechanics, but every player is uniquely individual, so not all will be taught to bowl or bat exactly in the same manner. We believe in empowering the players and use modern methods of coaching, taken from Tennis, Hurling, Baseball, Football, Basketball and applying them to Cricket providing players with multiple tools. Through tactical sessions, the players explore how they might want to use those tools and which is the most appropriate for them at any given time.

My name is Jo Souter and I am an experienced specialist dyslexia teacher and assessor. I am passionate about helping children to unlock their potential! Specialist teacher and assessor Oxfordshire As a teacher and as a mum of 2, I understand that every child is different and that a 'one size fits all' approach doesn't work. As a result my teaching is personalised to each student and draws on their strengths. My philosophy is that if your child doesn't understand something, then it is up to me to teach it differently. Up until having my children, I was a full time class teacher in a primary school. Therefore I understand the demands of teaching a class of 30 children each with differing strengths and difficulties! My skill is in creating a positive learning environment in which your child can thrive. After missing school due to Covid my daughter had sessions with Jo to increase her confidence. It was really inspiring to see her learning and enjoying a more creative & fun way of learning. - Parent of a Year 1 student Over the past 9 years I have worked as a specialist dyslexia teacher and assessor both in schools and privately. In addition to assessing, teaching and supporting individual children, I provide training and guidance for parents, teachers and support staff. Qualifications The field of dyslexia is ever evolving and I am committed to keeping up to date with the latest developments. As an Associate Member of the BDA (AMBDA), my continuing professional development is verified by the BDA every 3 years. I appear on both the BDA and PATOSS registers.
