Associates All of our trainers are well qualified care and / or medical professionals with a wealth of experience. We only work with people who maintain their practice within their chosen sector and so ensuring we are current to the ongoing changes the providers we support face every day. Our clinical courses are taught by an accident and emergency trained specialist to give added benefit to course participants. The Courses All of our courses can be externally accredited by national awarding bodies. The courses we deliver are based on the best practice protocols in place at the time of the delivery. We write all of our courses to meet the needs of the individual company we are working with. All of our courses are delivered using the minimum powerpoint slides but rather interactive, multimedia methods to ensure we reach as many learning styles as possible. We want all participants to have a enjoyable learning experience in order they can transfer their learning back into the workplace. If the course does not meet your needs we will re-train it free of charge. We enjoy working with people of all ages and have the ability to deliver fully funded Apprenticeship awards that are currently free of charge. We work from early years settings through to children and onto adult settings and have the assessors that will work with, mentor and encourage the staff members of the future.

Dennis is a Certified Money Coach (CMC)® and the founder of Cambridge Money Coaching. Money Coaching is a framework for understanding the unconscious patterns, beliefs and behaviours around money that we all have. This understanding is the key to achieving true financial independence and success because it drives our ability to make considered, long-term financial decisions. This is particularly important when we face the challenges of a sudden change in circumstances. Money is at the centre of our lives, but very few of us have been taught how to understand it or manage it. With over 30 years’ experience in financial services, Dennis offers clear, practical guidance on how to address the common problems associated with money choices, patterns, and the day-to-day management of money issues. He holds an Investment Advice Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI). Dennis believes strongly in building money awareness and helping young people prepare for the challenges of today’s world. He has been a Business Adviser with Youth Enterprise and worked with Cambridge schools as a mentor and guide to careers in Finance. Dennis is a regular guest on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire and panellist at Wealth Industry and Wellbeing events in the UK. He is also a Money Coach trainer for the Money Coaching Institute of California. South West Music School is a charity working with talented young instrumentalists, singers and composers aged 8 – 19 years in the South West of England. Due to the geographical nature of the South West, we are not building based but are a ‘virtual’ school working with young people on an individual basis in their local area. In addition, our students come together on a regular basis to collaborate, create, learn new skills and perform together. South West Music School is part of a national network of Centres of Advanced Training supported by the Department for Education Music and Dance Scheme for exceptionally talented young musicians. Funding provided by the DfE can ensure that each student has adequate resources to undertake involvement with SWMS and that all costs are met according to need (there is an optional section within our application form to help us determine your grant eligibility). South West Music School (SWMS) provides students with the same standard of music education as specialist music schools and junior conservatoires. The additional benefit of SWMS is that it allows students to stay in their existing education and continue to take part in other current musical (and non-musical) activities in their local communities. South West Music School covers each county in the South West region: Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Bristol, Gloucestershire, BaNES and Wiltshire. How much does it cost? The cost of a place at SWMS depends on the specific programme and tailored package of activities provided for each student. We work with families to ensure we place students on the right programme and with the right level of support for ability level, age, musical interest, and budget. SWMS students have access to means-tested grants from the Department of Education’s Music & Dance Scheme. A full grant will cover the entire costs of a place with South West Music School, as well as providing additional financial support for activities such as instrumental tuition. In 1983 at a time of record high unemployment a group of local business leaders came together. Their vision? This organisation became North Wales Training. It steadily grew, responding to local employment challenges. It built strong relationships with private and public sector partners. The Museum of English Rural Life is owned and managed by the University of Reading. We use our diverse and surprising collection to explore how the skills and experiences of farmers and craftspeople, past and present, can help shape our lives now and into the future. We work alongside rural people, local communities and specialist researchers to create displays and activities that engage with important debates about the future of food and the ongoing relevance of the countryside to all our lives. We were established by academics in the Department of Agriculture in 1951 to capture and record the rapidly changing countryside following World War II. The Museum is based on Redlands Road in a building originally designed by Sir Alfred Waterhouse in 1880 for local businessman Alfred Palmer, of the Huntley & Palmer biscuit company. The house then became St Andrews Hall of Residence in 1911, and in 2005 a modern extension was built onto the house for the Museum. The Museum was awarded £1.8million from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) in 2014 for the redevelopment of the galleries, reopening in October 2016. The redevelopment strengthens and renews our links with agriculture as well as enhancing our position in supporting engagement opportunities for students and academics across a wide variety of disciplines, nationally and internationally. The MERL and Reading Museum are currently in a strategic partnership as part of the Arts Council England National Portfolio 2018-2022. As Museums Partnership Reading we work together to provide cultural opportunities for Reading’s young people and diverse communities, through schools, volunteering, digital engagement and exhibitions.
