Thank you so much for your meditation course, which I found very interesting and made me want to find out more. It was clear, informative and could be aimed at any level. You supported us the whole time and as time went on I felt I could remain focused for longer. I put aside some time first thing in the morning to do the practice and it became a routine which I followed most days. Katie Thank you for holding space for all of us with your big big love wings ✨❤️ Andrea I think the biggest shift was being able to keep up with a regular meditation over a period of time and the meditation becoming part of my daily routine. It was good to get an understanding or hear the student teacher mantra. The format of the webinars worked well, I felt shy at first but then more confident to speak once I found my voice. T.S. It has been a fascinating journey, and one I am so glad to have taken with you as well as the other members of this sangha. I guess I saw it originally as a defence against the trials of the lockdown, but I quickly realised through the use of the myths, the wider discussions and the practice that this was a positive tool to challenge and overcome all the negative energy generated by the lockdown and, actually, beyond. I have found my time with you to be transforming. The positivity you generate and nurture through the yoga, the storytelling, this sangha is most welcome, and long may it continue. Keith I felt a shift in my sense of inner power and finding confidence to keep going be it every day challenges or bigger life changing challenges. Daily practice worked for me and I really liked the initial recording. To someone thinking about joining a similar programme with YogaBright, I would say “do it!”

If you have access to woodlands and permission to use it then I can offer a more traditional Forest School experience. This will usually be blocks of 5 or 6 sessions for up to 10 children at a time. Each session will last 2 hours and include a drink and snack. Alternative Forest School / PPA Cover This version of Forest School is more structured to allow a whole class to take part. This can be part of your PPA time planning as I only need one LSA for a class of 30 children. Each session lasts for 2 hours and includes a drink and snack. Don’t worry if you haven’t got a large woods – it works on playing fields next to shrubby areas with a few trees and hedges. Pricing I charge £125 per 2-hour session. This includes VAT and all materials and resources used. There may be additional costs for transport if you are not local. Why Me? I am DBS checked, Outdoor First Aid trained and a Qualified Teacher. The Learning Ranger is fully insured, including Public Liability, and activities are Risk Assessed. Session times and activities are fully flexible and I am always happy to tailor them to your needs. What is Forest School? Forest School is an inspirational process that has been developing in Scandinavian countries since the 1950’s but only made its way over to Britain in the mid 1990’s. Its basic aim is to connect children and adults with nature whilst supporting their social, emotional and physical development. Forest School sessions provide children and adults the opportunity to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning and play. Activities during Forest School sessions may include shelter building, fire lighting, using tools, outdoor cooking, games and self-led discovery.

Wing Chun Kung Fu is a close quarter Chinese fighting system first seen demonstrated in the West by movie star legend Bruce Lee. It was brought from China to Hong Kong in 1949 by Bruce Lee’s teacher, Grandmaster Ip Man (aka Yip man). Wing Chun was created by Shaolin nun, Ng Mui, in the 17th century and named after her first student, Yim Wing Chun. It has been passed on and developed by successive masters to become what it is today, a unique fighting system. It is characterised by using the most direct lines for attack and defence and combines explosive punches, elbows, palms, chops and mid to low section kicks. What is Kamon Wing Chun? Kamon Wing Chun was founded by Master Kevin Chan in 1992. Kamon Wing Chun is built on the solid roots of Ip Man Wing Chun and is firmly rooted in the complete classical Wing Chun system. It believes in the importance of heritage, preservation of the art, the philosophy and the deep rooted culture. However, Kamon’s philosophy incorporates progression and evolution of the art. Who is Kevin Chan? Kevin Chan is the Master of the Kamon Martial Arts Federation and a life member of the Yip Man Martial Arts Association. Kevin is UK born Chinese, he started HaKa style Kuen Mo in 1979 at 11 years old with his uncle in Hong Kong. My Friendly Neighbourhood Dance Studio. As someone who as been teaching and working alongside children and young people for 25 years, I genuinely believe I have the most privileged and fun job in the world. Being an educator and innovator through dance and movement has not always been straightforward; however, the rewards have always far outweighed any struggles. Simply seeing a kid dart across the floor smiling, creating a silly move, or an aspiring dancer suddenly find their confidence to shine. Priceless. Teaching and nurturing the next generation is a responsibility I don’t take for granted. These dancers are someone’s son or daughter, and it’s a teachers job to guide them and do right by them. I’ve always seen teaching as a two way learning stream; me teaching and inspiring the dancers, and in return the dancers inspiring and teaching me. Over the years, I’ts been a blessing to have met and worked alongside talented young people and professionals and been involved in some unforgetable creative projects and performances. These life changing experiences drive me to keep creating and sharing this energy with other children and young people. Having to evolve, think on one's feet and reflect on how to approach a project, a personality, or simply, how best to deliver the next class is an educator's creative responsibility. Being a dancer and teacher taught me to be innovative, present, and reflective and surrounded me with laughter and creativity. All of the above is not only positive for my mental health and well-being but reflected in the children, young people, and now adults I teach at Smikle Dance Studio. My vision for Smikle Dance Studio was to create a friendly and welcoming space where my personality and body of work could continue to flourish and grow. I feel like my studio is me. My years of experience as a dancer, performer and teacher blend into one environment shared with the local community, my SYD dancers, my fantastic team and my professional teachers.
