Kinetic School of Performing Arts was founded in 2013 by Director, Choreographer & Teacher Kris Crowley. Kinetic are a Theatre School, Musical Theatre Company & Youth Academy working throughout Cardiff and the surrounding areas. Kinetics' aim is to equip performers with the skills and experiences needed to enter the performing arts industry with the ethos of training whilst performing. Providing our performers with a vast range of performance opportunities enables them to put into practice a wide range of skills whilst nurturing their confidence, stage awareness and ability. Each year across the company Kinetic stages a range of productions & projects at our resident performance venues at The Richard Burton Theatre at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama & The Atrium (University of South Wales). As well as staging our own full scale musicals we perform at concerts, charity events, festivals & work with other companies & organisations collaboratively. Kinetic provides itself on its high reputation and standards, working at an industrious pace where team work & an endeavour for excellence remains key in our core values. As a family club, our philosophy is to make sailing available to all. Racing will be competitive and fun, providing entertainment and challenge across the field. Our racing credentials are well established and LESC is a highly sought after venue on the Traveller circuit with an excellent reputation for race management and organisation. And for those new to sailing, LESC has been an RYA Training Centre since and offers both adult and junior RYA dinghy, keelboat, and powerboat courses. Sailing is open to anyone, no matter what age or ability. You don't need to be able-bodied, or even a strong swimmer. Our sailability section seeks to raise awareness in the disability community of the tremendous benefits that sailing can provide and aims to help people with a disability get on the water at Loch Earn. We also use the IOCA class association Optimist or Oppy, the children's sailing dinghy, to support our youngest juniors in sessions on various Sunday mornings during the summer months to provide a more informal and practical introduction to sailing and racing in particular. Older children move on to the Topper dinghy. It's difficult to provide an age-based guidelines for these groups: with attitude and water-confidence the main attributes needed to enjoy dinghy sailing; some are ready to start as young as five, others will enjoy the fishing, swimming, camping, and all the other benefits of our family club!

Much of our learning is done through our Creative Curriculum thematically based blocks of learning that enables skills development. Our older pupils follow personalised learning plans and gain accreditations in a range of subjects and interests. Cricket Green is a school for pupils within the age range 4 to 19 who have diverse learning needs. At Cricket Green School everyone has the right to be treated equally regardless of gender, culture, belief or exceptional need.

10 years ago I started a development journey, trying out all sorts of approaches to move myself forward. It was in coaching that I truly experienced transformation. This led to me doubling my income, improving my health and being equipped with more self awareness and tools to navigate my life better with a stronger mindset which opened up further opportunities. My eclectic career background includes anatomy, research, naturopathic nutrition, living in Japan, charity work, automotive industry, banking, customer service, support, sales, cloud change management and most recently leadership in IT. It’s in my IT career that mentoring and coaching became more formalised as part of my every day role. Having done Michael Bungay Stanier’s, “The Coaching Habit” training at Microsoft, I went on to study transformational coaching at international coach school, Animas. Outside of coaching, I love health and wellness activities, painting, travel, and hiking. I am interested in what makes us who we are and what is truth.

Through an official crowdfunding campaign, we are trying to raise £10,000 so we can install solar panels. This will reduce our carbon footprint and fuel costs – so we can focus on training lifeguards and beach safety. Did you know our volunteers provided 500+ hours of beach and water safety cover in 2022,Crowdfunding this project builds wider community support for the club and provides us the opportunity to access further match funds to the project. We have been in discussion with Cornwall Council who are looking to support this project as part of their work supporting communities to reach net zero by 2030, and installing renewable energy in the county. In the long term, all these measures will help reduce our energy costs and improve the operation of the clubhouse, meaning we can focus more of our efforts on future activities for the community – supporting health and wellbeing, developing life saving skills, and awareness of the beach coastal environment.

Thinking Talking is a collaboration between two experienced Speech and Language Therapists, Anna Branagan and Stephen Parsons. We focus on what works in the classroom to support children’s development of speech, language and communication. steveStephen Parsons has worked as a Speech and Language Therapist for over 30 years, including over 20 years in Hackney and the City of London where he was Speech and Language Therapy Service Manager. He originally trained in Australia. He has a long term interest in vocabulary and has published research in the area. He is Chair of NAPLIC, the UK organisation for professionals working with developmental language disorder, and UK representative of RADLD, the international campaign to raise awareness of developmental language disorder. annaAnna Branagan has over 25 years experience as a Speech and Language Therapist. Anna trained in the UK and now practices in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire. In her specialist role she supports schools to develop inclusive practice. She also works within a Youth Support Team working with vulnerable teanagers.
