Painting memories: creating a community memory garden Honour. Reflect. Connect. We warmly invite you to join a unique and heartfelt event at the Art and Spirituality Centre. This gathering offers a peaceful, supportive space for you to create personal tributes in honour of loved ones who have passed. Event Highlights: - 🌸 Begin with a guided calming meditation, connecting your heart to the memories of those you’ve lost. - 🎨 Paint stones to honour your loved ones, sharing their names, memories, or symbols. - 🌼 Together, we will create a Memory Garden in nearby Westfield Park, arranging your decorated stones and flowers to create a meaningful space. - 💬 Return to the studio for a sharing circle with stories, reflections, poetry, and a warm cup of tea. A two day knife making course is a great way to make yourself an item that will last a lifetime, on this two day course we forge a larger knife with a wooden handle, most students choose to do a kitchen knife but more elaborate bushcraft knives and athames have also been made. A knife is one of the oldest tools ever made by humanity and it is one that invokes many emotions to people when they see and use it for a productive task. When doing a knife making course here at Bearded Pig Forge we will discuss the fine details of a knife and how they are made as well as the history of forging them.  On the course you will learn the basics of forging a blade and how to effectively heat treat them in order to get the most use out of the blades as well as techniques for sharpening and honing blades. Courses are £300 Per person per two days. All courses must be paid for a minimum of 14 days in advance to secure the date.  I run a strict cancellation policy. LOOKING FOR: ADULT FICTION, NON-FICTION Rachel Neely began her publishing career in 2016 at HarperCollins, before moving to Hachette where she worked as an editor for the next six years, specialising in crime and thrillers along with book club novels and contemporary fiction, most recently as a Commissioning Editor at Orion. Rachel joined Mushens Entertainment at the start of 2022 as an Associate Agent, assisting Juliet Mushens with her client list, including multiple Sunday Times and New York Times bestselling authors.
