Eradicating chronic disengagement, one child at a time, for a #LifeWorthLiving Bespoke academic and therapeutic interventions to facilitate a successful transition back into education. Here at Nudge [https://nudgeeducation.co.uk/], we work with schools, local authorities and parents to re-engage chronically disengaged young people who have been excluded or don’t attend school for a variety of reasons. We've supported more than 1600 young people across the UK to have a Life Worth Living through our academic and therapeutic interventions. We have helped reduce exclusion rates, persistent absenteeism and raise attainment levels by working together with our partners. We work 1:1 or 2:1 with the hardest-to-reach, those in care and young people with additional needs to prepare them for their bespoke transition goal, whether that be reintegration into school, preparation for exams, a specialist setting, post-16 options or the world of work. We do this through building relationships and delivering personalised programmes of learning.

Rubba Duckies is located in the heart of Guildford, and reflects the vibrant energy of the area. The skilled team members are here to help students achieve their goals. We operate out of two locations in Guildford, Surrey. Each pool offers different facilities and will suit different levels and needs. Fort Road Pool This pool is located at our home, it is a small pool and due to the location, we are only able to offer lessons Monday to Friday between 9:30am - 5:30pm. We only offer private 1-1 or 2-1 lessons at this pool. Our speciality at this venue is babies, toddlers and any children with any special needs or a fear of water. It is small and only one class can take place at a time. There is less distraction and due to the small classes, so we can work at your child’s pace and make them feel comfortable in an environment that they may be less fearful in. The cost of lessons at this pool are as follows: 1-1 lessons £40.00 per child per lesson 2-1 lessons £25.00 per child per lesson Boxgrove School Pool This is a great pool at a school in the heart of Guildford. The pool is 20m long and we are able to accommodate various skill levels. We start with Parent and Baby classes and go all the way through to adult fitness sessions and everything in between. We offer lessons at this pool on the following days: Monday 6:30pm - 8:30pm Thursday 6:30pm - 8:30pm Saturday 1:00pm - 5:00pm Sunday 1:00pm - 5:00pm There are various classes taking place at the same time, so we do try and accommodate families with siblings. We are normally able to get siblings in the pool at the same time so as to avoid multiple trips or long waits around the pool. The cost of lessons at this pool are as follows: 1-1 lessons £40.00 per child per lesson 2-1 lessons £25.00 per child per lesson Group classes (4 per class) £13.00 per child per lesson NB: Please note that we do invoice monthly in advance and require one month’s written notice to stop swimming for any reason. If you wish to see if there is a space available, please let me know what day and venue suits you best. (More than one option is helpful). Please also let us know your child’s current swimming ability.

Natalie Bradwell is The Iron Lady, taking on any job in metal, except cars and horseshoes!  From working on docks and muddy sites, to breweries and farms, to chaotic sculpture studios and workshops, The Iron Lady has gained a range of experience in a short time. Spanning food, agriculture, oil and gas, manufacturing and arts industries – thanks to her ability to see metal as a material and communicate with clients how metal works for them. This obsession with metals; steels, copper, aluminium etc, the chemistry of change and our ability to manipulate are what drives Natalie to search for the next challenge and the next opportunity to learn. After some 15 years of experience, The Iron Lady frequently undertook private work whilst working for other companies – it all started with a falling down hay store with a salvaged forge, anvil, table, stick welder and grinder, and a trusty van. Now at her third workshop, Bradwell Blacksmiths is finally a full time concern, apprentice in tow and a light industrial workshop which is also a place of learning, experimentation, art and creativity. Most recently, The Iron Lady has started running courses in welding, fabrication, metalwork and blacksmithing, for beginners, companies and those wanting to improve their existing skills. With space and equipment for 4 people at a time, Natalie is now sharing what she has learnt from all the craftsmen and women from her past metal adventures. And so to many more adventures in metal for The Iron Lady!

My journey into the world of speech and language therapy came at a time when I needed help in developing my daughter’s speech & language skills. Whilst we worked with the NHS, who did the best they could with the resources available, it became apparent that she would need more for her to progress. I felt it was up to me to open up her world further to encourage and develop her comprehension and expressive language. As a parent when your child is non – traditionally speaking it is difficult to understand how to help them and this can be extremely frustrating. Working with my daughter has inspired me to help other parents and children in similar circumstances. Using my skills as a professional and a mother I am able to empower parents/caregivers on the best way they can help their children. Being a proud mum to my autistic daughter has taught me so much but mostly understanding that as parents it is our responsibility to ensure that our children develop the necessary life skills to become young confident people and in doing so a big part of this is being able to recognise when ‘you’ as a parent need help to ensure all their needs are fully met. As a Speech & Language Associate Practitioner I currently run a Speech and Language clinic (Happy Chatters Speech & Language) in Northwest London. I work with children within the early years settings and specialise in working with children on the Autism Spectrum. I am fortunate to work alongside highly professional Speech & Language therapists to ensure a holistic approach in delivering personalised models.

I have always been absolutely mad about dogs and I cannot imagine that there will ever be a time that I won't be. This enthusiasm and love for dogs is clearly visible in my work. Gun dogs were my initial interest as my family had Weimaraners and Spaniels when I was growing up. Now, general obedience training and behaviour modification in pet dogs is the main focus of my career. I am based on a family farm in Tolleshunt D'Arcy with my pride and joy "Gus" - a Rhodesian Ridgeback (born September 2019). Many of my clients will meet him during our sessions and he may even be brought out as stunt dog. I adore taking on new clients and watching them progress exponentially with their dogs.
