I create mixed-media paintings which incorporate materials such as, heavily textured impasto, pigment powders, straw, textiles, and various found objects. I gained my Post Graduate diploma in Fine Art, and Foundation in Art & Design from the University Arts London, Central Saint Martins, and My BA honours in Fine Art & English Literature from The University of Reading. I also have a PGCE and a fully qualified teacher status in Art & Design. I currently work from my art studio in Perivale, London. As well as being a full time artist, I work as a Therapeutic art coach within an academic setting. I deliver art workshops in various London locations; provide private art classes/coaching from my studio, and I'm an instructor & mindfulness art coach at MasterPeace creative studios in London.

Dr. Adam is the founder of The PT Initiative, a globally trusted source of all things recovery, injury prevention, and athletic performance. His passion is helping active adults fix their injuries, improve their mobility and get them back to doing what they love, pain-free! He received his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, with a Sports Medicine concentration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chapman University. He worked as a fitness trainer and strength coach for several years before starting PTI, and now blends his passion for both fitness and rehab into his treatment approach. These days you can find him treating patients in our Raleigh PT Clinic, working with clients remotely across the world, or posting helpful PT tips on our Instagram page! Breathing Buildings was formed in 2006 following the development of the proprietary e-stack mixing ventilation system, as part of a major research programme at Cambridge University and MIT, funded by BP. The technology was filed for patent by the University of Cambridge, and Breathing Buildings has exclusive rights to this IP. Since then, we have changed the world of ventilation. The company is now the UK’s leading provider of controlled hybrid and natural ventilation systems. What this means for you We are passionate about everything we do. Our philosophy is to simply to be the best. From the moment a customer has a query about how to ventilate their building, they are supported by a remarkable team of MEng and PhD engineers who help our clients design truly stunning low energy buildings with stimulating environments, superb air quality and thermal comfort. Our consulting engineers work with the design team to discuss the different ventilation options and provide in-depth analysis to ensure our buildings do not overheat. We are the only company in the industry who can provide the whole range of tools to model ventilation in buildings; dynamic thermal modelling, computational fluid dynamics, water-bath modelling, zonal modelling, analytical modelling, and bespoke energy modelling. Once a system is ordered our project engineers liaise with our UK factory to coordinate the delivery of products and control systems to sites across the UK. Our commissioning team then ensures that every system we supply is properly installed, and can be monitored as part of our after-sales service. Innovation We have an ongoing program of product development and our links with the University of Cambridge are very strong. I have such passion for the beauty industry and love what I do! Beauty therapists (and hairdressers) have the most rewarding careers it has been stated. I couldn’t agree more! I gained my HND Beauty Therapy Qualification in 2001 from Central College of Commerce to allow me to work in an industry I loved. Since then I have worked continually to increase my skills and qualifications yearly by attending University (distance learning), nail and beauty courses, seminars, workshops and trade events. 15 years working in the beauty industry has made my career evolve and it continues to be a rewarding vocation. carol hendrie Where it all began My journey started in 1998 by doing night classes at college while working on cosmetic counters specialising in make-up. I worked in salons then went on to become a Business Manager for Clarins, beauty manager at The McDonald Inchyra hotel before becoming a salon owner in Falkirk for nearly 4 years. It was then when I specialised in acrylic and gel nail extensions as well as providing beauty treatments. I started teaching in 2003 at Forth Valley College whilst running my salon. After nearly 4 successful years in business a full time teaching opportunity arose in one of Scotland’s leading Colleges and I was the happiest girl alive when I got offered the full time position! Since 2006 I have gained the assessor and verifier award before developing my academic skills further completing a Degree in Professional Development (BAPD) at Aberdeen University whilst working in 2016 following on from my teaching qualification (TQFE) in 2011. I love teaching nails and beauty and find it so rewarding to see people achieve personal goals.
