Our History Fareport Training was established in 1981 in order to offer young people a route into work through work based training. In 2014 the business was purchased with support from entrepreneur Theo Paphitis by Natalie Cahill and Marinos Paphitis. Since then we have been building on Fareport's excellent reputation for high quality training and delivering training and apprenticeships across England.

BEP is both a charity and a company (not for profit) that is focussed on school improvement in its broadest sense. Our partnership works through a variety of discrete channels. These include contractual or commissioned work, membership services and traded activities. Our key activities include knowing the needs and strengths of all Birmingham schools, supporting those that are at risk, or those already judged to be less than good. BEP provides opportunities for the remainder of Birmingham schools to support their own school development journey. We do this by brokering support with expert consultants, offering specialised events and CPD opportunities and facilitating effective collaboratives and partnerships between schools. We have developed the BEP Peer Review Programme, a bespoke programme for Birmingham Schools, to rigorously challenge each other and identify priority areas for development. Our traded services are delivered by a team of high quality, independent education professionals as Priority Partners with years of experience, working successfully at all levels of challenge. Additional programmes are also delivered by experienced coordinators to address mental health in schools, development of the arts and sports curriculum, engagement of pupils with global issues and building connections between local businesses and schools to improve career opportunities for young people.

The Keeping Digital Foundation launched as York Pi Jam in April 2016, working on a city digital making event to give young people the opportunity to try out digital making and to pilot these activities for a larger roll out. With a hugely successful event taking place in 2017/18, York Pi Jam then created monthly digital making activities and worked with organisations across the city of York to host and organise more of these activities.

I am extremely proud to be leading the staff and pupils at Safe Start School towards achieving their personal and professional goals. Having worked with vulnerable young people since my early career I see it my mission to ensure all young people who attend Safe Start are given the educational tools any student in mainstream provisions are provided with. It is my goal to ensure we support our students to transition from requiring guidance with life skills to making independent decisions to becoming successful adults. I lead with a high expectation of delivering Quality First Teaching at Safe Start School and providing a high quality education for our children. We are a Tameside based education provider with a trauma-informed lens, helping students build their resilience and flourish in a happy and healthy way. We are advocates using the ACE & Thrive programmes which is embedded into our whole school vision and ensure all staff receive the accredited training through my role as external Lead Trainer. We have a dedicated and unique approach to education and build a curriculum around the needs and goals of students for them to live the best lives possible. Our committed team of professionals work alongside young people in a wrap-around service that encompasses a child’s life to allow them access to the best services and information available. The team takes a unique and innovative approach to educating key stages 3 and 4 working both in and out of the classroom. I also love working with university students and young people. I am passionate about supporting them through self-discovery, confidence and career mapping. So many young people need direction. I also partner with universities and organisations to help deliver online career coaching support to guide students throughout the school term. I am passionate about arts in health and its impact on our wellbeing. I thoroughly enjoy working with professionals in the creative industry. I am also an artist and my work is focused on health and wellbeing and influences of life in the Caribbean. Try something new and be inspired to improve, take action and take care of you.
