ESMS Nursery is a happy place to be, with highly qualified staff who nurture children as individuals and offer extraordinary opportunities to help them discover their unique potential. Our three-and four-year-olds spend their days exploring our beautiful grounds and having fun in light and airy playrooms. Why parents choose us: Attachment Led Nursery Highly Qualified Staff Our Wellbeing Programme Outdoor Learning Flexible Wraparound Care 1140 Council Funded Hours Attachment Led Nursery ESMS is an attachment led Nursery where close relationships are formed between the staff and our children. We believe that no child is ordinary, so we take the time to get to know every child and discover their own individual talents and passions. The ethos in our Nursery is creative and hands-on. We nurture each child’s imagination, creativity and critical thinking through play based opportunities, encouraging the children to have fun, become increasingly independent and to think for themselves. Highly Qualified Staff It is our staff that make the Nursery such a special place to be. Together they inspire our children to become confident young people with good hearts and strong values.  Each of our Nursery rooms for four year olds has its own qualified teacher and we also have specialist staff for Music, Digital Learning, PE, Library and Forest Kindergarten.  This approach allows us to gently introduce children to a range of new experiences which are then built upon as they move through school.

London

Since the 1920s, Morley Exhibitions has been supporting the creative development of Morley’s students and providing cultural engagement across all centres and subjects. Based across nine display spaces at the Waterloo, Chelsea and North Kensington Centres, Morley Exhibitions maintains a regular programme to showcase the talents of the student and staff community. Morley College London is home to artists working across all art forms and at all stages of their careers: students, emerging and established. Our exhibitions programme presents new ideas and different perspectives in ways that are inclusive, innovative and inspiring. Most prominent of our exhibition spaces is Morley Gallery, a two story state-of-the-art art gallery in a converted pub at the Waterloo Centre. Opened in 1969, it is currently in the last stages of a major refurbishment and will reopen in Spring 2021. We’re excited to announce a new programme of shows in the new year. Morley Exhibitions also maintains our important permanent collection of artworks on display around the college buildings. This including murals by Edward Bawden and large installation paintings by Martin Froy, John Piper and Bridget Riley. Also on show are portraits of Morley’s principals painted by Maggi Hambling, a highly valued member of our teaching staff since the 1970s. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, exhibitions and displays can be seen online at www.morleygallery.com. We look forward to welcoming you back to our physical spaces soon!

Creative Resilience International

Barcelona

I am passionate about resilience and helping people understand how important resilience is in our lives. I studied with some of the leading international experts working to promote resilience. For the last 5 years I have been actively promoting resilience with individuals, families, organisations and communities. I had spent many years working in the field of positive psychology and therapy and it was here in Barcelona that I discovered the world of resilience and was lucky enough to attend the first post graduate course in the Promotion of Resilience at the University of Barcelona. This allowed me to meet and learn from leading figures in Resilience work in Europe and Latin America and the most generous teachers. I also studied a postgraduate diploma in mental health and migration. Moving around can bring opportunity but also challenges. I have lived in many countries and met a lot of diverse and truly inspiring people in different cultures and languages. Living an international life can feel like an amazing adventure but also comes with its challenges and I have worked with many individuals and families over the years helping them to find their feet again. Life experience, literature, music and films have always fed my resilience work but I have been studying and researching along the way to back up my instincts with analysis and ideas based on theory and practice. Here you can read some of my research in English and Spanish.
