My earliest memories of doing yoga are with my mother as a child. I was brought up with an awareness of wellbeing, physical fitness and nutrition and I had a very sporty childhood. After a career in modelling and working in events where the pressure to be thin was high, I refused to diet and instead used physical exercise and nutrition to keep myself in shape for work. My interest in exercise and healthy eating led me to pursue a career as a Personal Trainer which I did for a good few years. I loved this work but didn’t feel it always gave me the opportunity to work with a person holistically. Clients often neglected their mental health and did not make stretching a priority which I believed to be so important for overall body health so I embarked upon some yoga qualifications and my journey as a yoga teacher began. I knew this to be my future work so after a short break to have my children, I took a 200 hour teacher training in Vinyasa Flow with the well renowned Claire Missingham. I have been teaching ever since. I took on our beautiful studio in November 2018 and I feel very lucky to call it my place of work and do what I do each day. Life is busy and sometimes stressful and demanding. It can be easy to neglect our wellbeing. Practices like yoga, breathwork and meditation help guide us towards strategies to help manage our lives and take better care of ourselves. I believe that yoga is for everyone and that you should be able to practice in a way that compliments your body and your needs. Some like to practice slow and some like to be more dynamic, some need a practice that is kind to an injury or an ailment/illness. Some are beginners and some have been practicing for years. At Ener-G Yoga studio we really try to offer a large range of classes that help people to find the type of yoga that works for them. From Breathwork and Meditation classes to Vinyasa Flow and Aerial Yoga classes, you should be able to find a class that inspires you. We look forward to welcoming you.

Having taught Pilates for over 10 years, I have experience of working with people from all walks of life, from ages 18 - 80+, from complete beginners to fellow teachers, and from those recovering from illness and injury to triathletes and dancers. Whatever stage of life you are at, Pilates will help you feel and move better in your everyday life. Pilates is a holistic form of exercise that is designed to strengthen, elongate and restore the body to balance. The Archers of Teme club is based between Ludlow, Leominster and Tenbury Wells on the borders of South Shropshire, North Herefordshire and Worcestershire. It is one of the oldest clubs in the county, originally formed in 1856** and is affiliated to Shropshire. The present club was reformed in 1984. We are a medium-sized club with an active membership. Although most members shoot recurve bows we have a few compound archers and a growing number of longbows. The club is based at the Brimfield & Little Hereford Sports Club to which we are affiliated. During the summer months we shoot on Sunday afternoons from 2.00pm to 5.00pm and also on evenings during the week. In the winter we shoot indoors at Moor Park School where we also have a small field archery course and the opportunity for clout shooting. Some members of the club attend local and national competitions but many are happy just to shoot at club sessions for the fun of it! New archers of all ages are invited to one of our beginners’ courses, experienced archers are welcome to join us at any time.

Hi, I am Geraldine Christie the owner of Thimbleberry Sewing. A small independent sewing/crafting venue since 2020 in Elderslie, Scotland. It’s a place to learn new skills, built confidence and meet new people. All classes are run from my home in a sociable and welcoming environment with a maximum of four students per class. I cater for those who are complete beginners or more advanced sewists. I have always had a passion for sewing and crafting and learned to sew from an early age. You could say its in my blood as I come from a long family tradition of sewing, passed down from my Great Grandmother. Although I could sew I wanted to learn more and trained at Cardonald College in Glasgow where I achieved an HNC in Clothing Technology. I then set up my own Dressmaking business specializing in Bridal wear. After some time I wanted to pass on my skills and teach. After completing a BA in Consumer & Management Studies (Home Economics) and a PGDE teaching Diploma I was qualified to teach. I taught in Secondary schools for 12 years so, with over 30 years sewing experience you are in safe hands.
