About GSP Coaching Empowering people to enjoy their work in an effective way that allows them balance in their personal and working lives. GSP Coaching Ltd was set up in 2009 by Gary and Jayne Saul-Paterson. Both Gary and Jayne have been freelance coaches and trainers since 2000 and decided to bring their training and coaching work together under the umbrella GSP Coaching Ltd (Gisborne Saul-Paterson Ltd). Gary is an experienced leadership coach and trainer who has worked for over 30 years as a Headteacher, Headteacher Support Coordinator, trainer and facilitator in a variety of organisations mostly within the Education sector. Gary has helped to inspire significant change and development for a wide range of clients in schools, local authorities and businesses, and provides confidential and motivational support for mainly leaders. He provides a Headteacher and staff pastoral support service plus coaching and training predominately in schools based in South West but can work remotely with schools across the country. Jayne is an experienced and qualified Coach, Careers Adviser and Trainer who has been delivering teaching, coaching, training and advisory services for 30 years. Jayne is a proactive advocate for Equality and Inclusion and has worked on a number of diversity projects including setting up and leading the employer mentoring scheme at the University of the West of England whilst working there as a Careers Consultant. She has previously worked in Primary, Secondary and Advisory teaching roles specialising in emotional intelligence, mental health, race equality and special needs. Jayne has designed and delivered training programmes including those specifically aimed at women, ethnically diverse individuals particularly in the areas of career, emotional well-being, positive psychology and personal development.

Then I became a mum and decided I wanted to pursue something a little more office based and less of those retail hours type vibe. My career took me to The Telegraph where I was part of the team who launched the biggest women’s wellness festival in Europe; Be:FIT London. I picked up a few more awards for that too, such as ‘Sales Person of the Year’ and ‘Best Brand Expansion’. I did some serious soul work to help me identify my next step – setting up my own business – and I took a massive leap of faith. 3 years on and I’ve helped and supported countless women in business and female-led brands to achieve real growth and confidence in their business strategies and sales endeavours. My bespoke approach and guidance alleviates the stress so my clients can focus on the work that’s meaningful to them.

I pride myself on professionalism and diligence in all that I do. In the last 7 years, altering my mindset has totally changed all aspects of my life for the better. With a background in the corporate tech sector, I had always worked in a very male dominated environment. I was really ambitious, and keen to get ahead at work, but often felt I struggled to be taken seriously. I battled with feeling frustrated - because I knew I had so much to add, but daren't speak up. I feared everyone's eyes turning to me, and the pressure would feel unbearable. This knocked my confidence and I realised I needed to do something about it, to take control back of my own destiny. At this point I discovered lots of different podcasts that really helped to shift my perspectives, and through this found the coach I worked with for the first time which was a total game changer for me. I gradually grew in confidence and began to recognise the value I brought to the table. This helped me to articulate myself a lot better, and I worked on improving my communication skills which enabled me to finally progress in the organisation I worked for at the time. I reached a certain point in my career where I realised I owed so much to my personal transformation. I discovered that my passion was now reaching other women and supporting them to unlock their inevitable potential! Life's too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled. Here’s some insight into my story. Supporting other women As I learned about the power of foods, mind body connection and holistic health techniques, my burning desire to continue learning and to share that knowledge. Enrolling on a Naturopathic healing course in 2018 was one of the best decision of my life. It was liberating to re-learn about the human body as well as ancient practices and healing techniques which have been overwritten by modern day big pharma and food corporations who prioritise profits over people. This empowering experience led me to put myself into self-experimentation mode of trying different foods, protocols, and practices. I managed to re-wire my body and mind, resetting it back to what it was originally designed to do - THRIVE! This has been the most exhilarating experience of my life, bringing me ‘back to me’ and feeling freedom in my mind and body. Now in my late 30's I feel more alive than I ever have. My perspective on life is infectious on those closest to me and I pride myself on how far I have come.
