The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (RQF) formerly known as DTLLS, is suitable for those who are in a teaching or training role and wish to obtain a degree level qualification. It is also suitable for trainee teachers as well as those who have experience in a teaching role. The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (RQF) provides learners with the knowledge and understanding of delivering education and training, assessing learners, planning in education and training, using resources in the delivery in education and training, and understanding the roles and responsibilities within education and training. This qualification will also allow the individual to apply for Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status. The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) formerly known as PTLLS, has been designed to introduce teaching for individuals who aspire or currently work in adult education. This includes FE colleges, training providers, workplace training departments and/or Local Authorities. It is a nationally recognised qualification and is also often the preference for employers to source as an accredited train the trainer qualification. It is recognised by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) as an acceptable qualification to become a CAA certified trainer. This version of the course has been further developed to meet the requirements of the IATA Train the Trainer syllabus with additional aviation related content, our course is aligned with IATA AHM1110 11.2 (GEN10). This course can also be used to meet the standards of IS-BAH IG 8.1.6. This qualification includes three written assignments and a practical micro-teach session.
