My name’s Marion Webber and I’ve been working in the field of Arts in Health and more general participatory arts for over a decade. Studies* have proven the benefits of taking part in creative activities that support our daily lives. I founded Arting Celfio during 2020, to enable Healthcare professionals and artists specialising within Arts and Health to collaborate and provide high-quality, tailor-made, person-centered arts projects. I am a practicing artist based in South Wales, with extensive experience in Participatory Arts Practice. This has given me the privilege to work with diverse participants on many commissions resulting in the installation of artworks in both temporary and permanent exhibitions. My art practice and knowledge inform how I collaborate and co-curate projects with Healthcare professionals and fellow artists within the field of Arts in Health. I have an MA (with Distinction - Arts Practice Arts, Health and Wellbeing) and gained a PGCE PcET Teaching Qualification (Post-16 and Adult Education sectors). I deliver creative workshops, informed by reflective practice and a commitment to continued professional development that connects, and provides meaningful activities that value people’s input and stories. Swimming has always been a part of my life. My mum was a swimming teacher so taught me from a very young age. She also introduced me to the open water side over a decade ago and I was instantly hooked. I love everything about being in the open water; from seeking out quick dips in beautiful wild places, to pushing my limits over distance or in races, to swapping stories over steaming mugs of post-swim hot chocolate. I also love triathlon and have been lucky enough to stand on the podium a number of times as well as competing in five age group World Championship races, with a best place finish of 4th. I’m an STA Level 2 Open Water Swimming Coach and Swimming Teacher, a Mountain Leader, and an RLSS Beach Lifeguard. I also have degrees in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience and Translational Neuroscience, and a keen interest in performance psychology and exercise for mental health and rehabilitation. I set up Swim Snowdonia to reflect my personal values and passion for all aspects of swimming. To showcase the many incredible and diverse wild swimming locations in North Wales. To provide a safe, supportive and fun environment for swimmers to improve their confidence and proficiency. To deliver high quality coaching to those wishing to improve technique, speed, strength, and endurance. And, to cultivate a protective instinct for the environment by demonstrating its wonder, worth and fragility.

Thomas has been an upholsterer for over thirty years, having studied furniture production at High Wycombe College, leading to a lifetime of practising traditional upholstery. Thomas and his team are based at the Old Maltstore, a fine 17th Century malt store on quiet lane in the heart of Knighton. Thomas is a certificated member of the guild of Traditional Upholsterers as well as having a City and Guild qualification for teaching adults. Thomas initially practised in the Lake district and then for the last twenty-five years has practised in Knighton, a beautiful border town in Mid Wales. Having restored furniture, and run courses in this beautiful area, operating first from the barns at The Upper House, Discoed, home to John Nethercott & Co the fine furniture makers, and then in several local village halls, he established a centre for practicing and teaching upholstery at The Old Maltstore. Most weeks will find a bustling enthusiastic bunch of upholsterers, young and old, skilled and learners, battling over their projects. Thomas’s upholstery work for clients includes furniture from the 17th century onwards, including fragile historic pieces and contemporary traditional furniture. His courses are suitable for all and he is happy to give advice about the type of project that will be right for individuals.
