The Sunflower Effect is a proven confidence-building system based in an adapted form of drama, that has been transforming the lives of quiet, reserved and introverted people since 1997.  It was developed by Claire Schrader, the UK's leading confidence expert in the area of shyness, social anxiety and self-consciousness. Say goodbye to inhibitions, self-consciousness and develop a natural and authentic self-confidence the fast, fun and easier way. You will discover that it is not just the outgoing, go-getting, socialites that get along in this world. There is a very high success rate from the Sunflower Effect Confidence Courses i.e. overcoming anxiety, speaking up in groups, socialising, networking or advancing your career prospects. And a 100% money-back guarantee (conditions apply). Connect with others who are experiencing the same issues: shyness, self-consciousness, fear of speaking in groups, social anxiety, and other confidence issues. Unlike other confidence-building courses that teach you a series of techniques that you will quickly forget, the Sunflower Effect Confidence Courses work in a unique way. They work through an adapted form of drama that enables you to work from the inside to shift habitual behaviours and mindset. Currently, all in-person courses take place in Central London. But the effects can just as powerful through the Sunflower Effect online courses and individual sessions. All online courses are on Zoom which means that you will be meeting online with Claire Schrader and other participants in a private interface through the Zoom platform. ABOUT CLAIRE SCHRADER Claire Schrader has developed one of the fastest ways for quieter people to break out of their shell and develop an effortless self-confidence through her confidence-building system, the Sunflower Effect. She started out in life as a shy introvert until she discovered the way out through drama, theatre and improvisation.  She creates a very safe place for her students to break out of their shell at their own pace and in their own way. She has been featured on Sky TV and BBC Radio World Services. In 2021 she launched the first Sunflower Effect Confidence Course Leader Training and so we will have more facilitators offering courses. Please get in touch about the next Confidence Course Leader Training.

English Artist, Sarah Madsen attended Central Saint Martins School of Art & Design in London, England. There she gained a BA Hons Degree in Jewellery Design. This interest in 3D Design was quite a different direction from her first love of Fine Art. The Desire to follow figurative art has been a constant theme throughout her life as an artist. In 1992 the artist received a Travel Bursary from The Royal Society of British Sculptors on a Medal Design. She has also exhibited at various locations such as the Mall Galleries in London, Silvermine Art Centre in Connecticut and also at Steven Whyte Figurative Sculpture Studio in Carmel, California, USA. After 12 years of living in various locations in the USA. Sarah returned to the U.K in 2013 and started her business "Sarah Madsen Jewellery." “It all started from drawing, always drawing. This all eventually lead to starting my Jewellery business from the kitchen table. (With a family of 4 children, you can only imagine, I grew quickly off the idea of mealtimes.) To thankfully now, a full Jewellery workshop/garden studio in the wilds of Cambridgeshire. Raw materials are transformed by using traditional metalworking techniques such as hammering, filing, stone setting, wax carving and soldering. I create every single item by hand. Pursuing an organic, floral and figurative style. I'm always trying to create a classic or "living feeling" piece (such as the Tiaras.) My aim is to bring quality and design together, to produce carefully crafted Jewellery work that is of heirloom and artistic merit. I feel extremely proud that I'm able to be part of the importance of keeping our skills as craftsmen alive here in the U.K. "

Hello, My name is John Bunyan I teach the Wudang style of Tai Chi Chuan as a complete Martial Arts system. I teach all 5 elements of Tai Chi Chuan: Hand Form Pushing Hands Self Defence Weapons (Sword, Sabre and Spear) Internal Strength I’ve been studying Dan Docherty’s Practical Tai Chi Chuan style since 1990 and teaching in the UK for the last 25 years. I am a certified level 8 Chief Instructor of this style (see resource on the menu for Instructor levels) and a Tai Chi & Qigong Union for Great Britain senior instructor. Students of other styles who want to learn more about the martial side of Tai Chi Chuan are welcome. Tai Chi Chuan We train using the hand form and pushing hands, but we also learn the self-defence applications, which is where the hand form was derived from. Learning the applications also helps with focus when practising the hand form. We use other training techniques such as running thunder hand, pad work, 5 element arm, San shou etc. The Spear, Sabre and Sword are taught as forms with applications. Tai Chi for Health Using the hand form our aim is to offer a series of flowing, connected movements that help improve balance, coordination, posture and circulation. It also helps to relax the mind as well as the body. The hand form is a type of moving meditation. We also use pushing hands. These are partner drills used to train whole body coordinated movements. They are beneficial because you are training to move with your partner, not against them. 8 Pieces of Brocade Qigong is taught to help improve movement in the body’s joints. To stimulate the nervous system and circulation. Students who are practising for the health-giving aspects are always welcome to join in and learn the martial aspects of the art.

We always dreamed of creating workshops that offered people a way of expressing their creativity and love of nature’s beauty, both outside or inside their home. And with The Crafty Gardeners we could share our expertise, along with plenty of clever tips on making gardens look amazing or turning a bunch of flowers into a fantastic floral arrangement to appreciate at home. The flower arranging workshops teach you the techniques a florist would use to make beautiful bouquets or wonderful displays and Christmas wreaths. What better way to feel creative than by being in some of the most inspiring places in the South West such as Bowood House and Gardens , Westonbirt Arboretum and The Walled Garden at Mells. And you’ll have plenty of time to explore them afterwards as our Workshops are half day or short full days – perfect for fitting around our busy lives. Everything for your chosen workshop is included, such as a drawing kit or flowers, foliage and equipment. Suitable for all levels of experience, simply join me and a maximum of 10 others, where I’ll first show you what to do before you have a go yourself, giving you all the time and space to let your creativity grow.

We believe in empowering the players and use modern methods of coaching, taken from Tennis, Hurling, Baseball, Football, Basketball and applying them to Cricket providing players with multiple tools. Dovestone Coaching

Ashton Under Lyne

My name is Jo and I'm the owner of Dovestone Coaching.  I have been a coaching for five years and have been a fully qualified coach for three years.  I run webinars, workshops and conduct personal coaching sessions.   I work with people who are stuck due to unhelpful thoughts and feelings.  Using techniques based on Acceptance and Commitment Coaching and Training [http://dovestonecoaching-com.stackstaging.com/faq/] (ACT) I help them unhook from these unwanted thoughts. By creating some distance between them and their thoughts they can respond more flexibly, giving freedom from their inner critic. ACT is a well-evidenced psychological framework to help people move forward and reduce the struggle in their life. I don’t just coach clients on ACT – I use these techniques myself every single day.  I am a member of The Association Of Coaching as I believe in maintaining professional standards and continue to develop my skills through training and education.  I must admit, I don’t do extreme sports, go to huge music festivals, or explore exotic places. You won’t see photos of me hanging off rocks, in a Porsche, doing a triathlon or in the executive suite of a posh hotel drinking champagne, because that’s just not me. Instead, I value the everyday things. Things like date nights, a glass of wine with friends, relaxing with a favourite book or playing with the kids. There’s magic in the everyday, I’ve found. It’s being present in these little, day-to-day things – the people and places that really matter to me – that makes my life rich and fulfilling.
