I have been teaching photography for over twenty years  - both privately and as a Senior Lecturer at University level. I offer a course for beginners where in 6 x 1 hour lessons you will be shooting in manual, editing your photos so they really pop and have a great understanding of light and composition. All classes are 121 to ensure you learn at your own pace and I run a jargon-free zone! For those more experienced photographers I also offer a portfolio review to discuss how to make more money from your photography or produce that body of work you have already dreamed of. As well as being a professional photographer for nearly three decades I also have a Masters in Teaching and a Fellow of the Higher Education Accademy.

Kathy from KE Dance and Fitness has been teaching dance to people of all ages across the country for 40 years from beginners through to British Champions. I look forward to welcoming you to KE Dance and Fitness in the Sandbach area. We have always been one of the best dance schools in the area both when teaching in North Yorkshire and Cheshire. We have a comprehensive range of Dance Classes for children and adults, with or without partners. Our Children's classes start with the very youngest children with Mini Movers Dance, which is for children up to the age of 5 accompanied by their parent/carer. The rest of the children's classes range from Ballroom, Latin, Classical Sequence and Cheerdance. Our Adults classes are specifically designed for absolute beginners to advanced dancers and competitors. Fitsteps is another class that we offer within KE Dance, this is a popular fitness class using the Ballroom and Latin genre and music. Kathy is a fully qualified dance teacher and adjudicator of the highest level and is a life member of United Kingdom Alliance, Fitsteps, Fitsteps Fab and Mini Movers Dance.

We have always been known for being a fun and approachable club. Currently we have around 40 members shooting all styles of bows. The club primarily consist of recurve and compound archers. There are still the odd few who shoot longbow, bare bow and more traditional styles. Some club members also practice other types of archery such as Clout, Flight and Field but unfortunately the club does not have the facilities to cater for these. Over the years the club has produced several top archers. Some of our juniors shot on the Scottish squad and team, representing Scotland all over Britain. We have Scottish record holders, British record holders, even a British Under 15 Junior Boy champion. The seniors have represented the club over the years with Scottish, British and even Olympic champions. Loreburn Archers certainly does have a good pedigree behind it and it is something we are extremely proud of. The club practises all year round. Our indoor season runs from September through to March. We currently shoot at St Joseph’s College Sports Hall. The outdoor season runs from March to September. Through the summer we practise outdoors at the Crichton Playing Field, when it is not raining or too windy to shoot. Directions can be found on our contact page. If you are thinking about taking up the sport, we run a beginners’ course once a year. Completing the beginners’ course is the only way for a novice to join the club. However if you have been a full shooting member of a club in the past, please get in touch with us to inquire about joining. Archery is a sport that is open, to all irrespective of ability. We encourage anyone and everyone to come along and have a shot, the club’s minimum age limit is set at 12 years old. Each November the clubs runs an open indoor competition attracting up to 80 archers from all over Britain. Loreburn Archers also run a number of Come and Try sessions at local Gala days during the summer season which introduces archery to a wider audience as well as raising funds for the club.

Peaches and Zumba were dream horses, happy to let us brush them and work together to lead them around a course. We were complete beginners not having any experience with horses, Nadine gave us clear and helpful instructions which made our experience great.
