Dr McInnis has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and has over 20 years experience as a qualified Chartered Clinical Psychologist in the United Kingdom for the National Health Service (NHS). Nubia Wellness and Healing specialises in African Centred approaches (Black Psychology) to improving emotional well-being. She gained a Winston Churchill Fellowship in 2016 to further her knowledge of African Centred approaches and put this knowledge to action

We are a unique collaborative project providing free legal information, advice, representation and advocacy support to self-identifying women in Scotland affected by violence and abuse (read our inclusion statement here). Our services include legal and advocacy helplines, legal advice surgeries, advocacy support and legal representation. You can find a list of our services here. Our mission Our Centre strives to fill the gaps that exist between women’s experiences of gender-based violence and their ability to access justice by working with specialist solicitors and experienced advocacy workers. Informed by our direct work with victims/survivors of violence and abuse, we seek to influence national policy, research and training to improve processes and systems, and ultimately to improve justice outcomes for women who have experienced gender-based violence. The Scottish Women’s Rights Centre is a collaboration between Rape Crisis Scotland, JustRight Scotland and the University of Strathclyde Law Clinic. Our core services are funded by the Justice Department of the Scottish Government, administered by the Scottish Legal Aid Board.

After obtaining her bachelor's in education in 2010, Samantha has taught in FE and privately in academies to impart all her knowledge, skills, and experience to the next generation of therapists and practitioners. ''Care for young people's future CIC'', it's a Centre of Alternative Education and Reintegration for young people and families. Our mission and vision is: To support ,mentor and empower the young people from the Roma community and any other disadvantaged background : such as EAL, BAMER, SEN . To prioritise Looked after children and children with special needs without a diagnose by reconnecting them with their culture, heritage or community. To raise young people's aspirations and support them in achieving their best in life. To raise awareness of the Roma cultural background by working in partnership with all relevant services and public bodies. Covid -19 response Please note that due to COVID-19, our consultants have taken the difficult decision to suspend all face-to-face group and individual activities and services in response to Covid-19. This is to protect the most vulnerable members of the community and safeguard the health and wellbeing of everyone. We are starting face to face sessions in small groups and one to one for the most vulnerable young people. Our team have put in place alternative services where possible, e.g. telephone appointments, zoom sessions in Romanes and English. We are still doing outreach and provide educational activities to the most disadvantaged and vulnerable young people .
