The international student recruitment market for UK Boarding Schools is huge, exciting and full of opportunity however, along with all the greatness comes complexity, risk and uncertainty. UKAcademia, was formed to create an understanding of the student recruitment market, particularly focusing on schooling applications and, in turn, to simplify this process for our clients. We are one of the most trusted and unique providers in the industry who have partnered with associations worldwide and create opportunities for young people, ensuring that their journey from start to finish is a smooth one. Our partner UK Boarding Schools are carefully selected so that we can give all families a wide range of choices whether it concerns academic ability, affordability or simply a 'try before you buy' approach. Since being founded in 2012, we have placed over 150 students into boarding schools for many long-term courses and have in-turn supported schools with their recruitment and international development agendas. Today, we have expanded to recruiting and supporting families from over 15 countries and have now opened offices in Thailand, India and Hong Kong. Our Headquarters remain in the UK. Whilst recruiting for top schools from 15 different countries, we took time to really understand the process and explore any challenges so that we can create solutions as well as make the process less daunting. EuCAN is a Community Interest Company (CIC) working in the UK and other countries of Europe to involve more people and communities in the conservation management of their local environment, by providing training and practical experience for young graduates, potential volunteers and therapeutic groups, in nature conservation and in sustainable land management and food production enterprises. EuCAN CIC started life in 2007 as the European Conservation Action Network, a project linked to The Kingcombe Centre in west Dorset, and funded entirely by the Leonardo da Vinci strand of the EU Lifelong Learning Programme. Since 2007, The European Conservation Action Network has set up 23 different two-week placements and enabled nearly 300 volunteers to visit 11 partner organisations in the EU. In 2011, when The Kingcombe Trust was wound up, EuCAN became established as an independent Community Interest Company through which, in addition to promoting placements with our other EU partners, we have organised several conservation projects in Dorset and Somerset, are undertaking an increasing number of habitat management contracts using professionals and trainees working together, and have run training courses each year in botanical and lepidoptera identification and ecology, bumblebee conservation and id and other subjects. The CIC now acts as a hub for the wide network of volunteers, organisations and other contacts that EuCAN has cultivated since 2007. ewbury Speakers provides a safe, supportive and positive learning experience in which members learn to develop their communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. Members learn and practice in a friendly, non-threatening environment. They learn and practice alongside other people who are there for the same reason. They are taught by people, who just like them, were hesitant about public speaking but have now successfully developed their public speaking skills. Together everyone grows and develops their confidence and communication skills. And, best of all, they usually have fun as they learn. As a non-profit organisation Newbury Speakers is run by volunteers that give their time to help run the club. Community Outreach Newbury Speakers has been part of the Newbury Community for over 35 years. The club has staged numerous events such as free workshops and a Speakers Corner in the Market Place. Members have given speeches at local networking clubs and facilitated Speechcraft courses for corporations in the area. Speechcraft is a program designed to help develop public speaking skills and confidence in front of an audience. These skills are learnt over six two-hour sessions, one session per week. During each session participants learn and practice speaking and communication skills, and have the opportunity to learn and receive feedback from experienced speakers. The skills learnt by the participants, are not only relevant to public speaking but to all situations where verbal communication is required.

Our passion for climbing has inspired us to develop climbing walls that enable anyone and everyone to access the sport and develop the next generation of climbers. The Climbing Academy started in Bristol in 2008 when The Mothership opened. We delivered on our vision to build a bouldering wall that would appeal to as many people as possible, giving them the opportunity to take part in what we think is the best sport in the world. Soon after, we opened The Newsroom in Glasgow – based in an old newspaper printing works – bringing the city its first dedicated bouldering centre. In more recent years we took over Undercover Rock AKA The Church, Bristol’s original roped wall in St Werburghs. In late Autumn 2018, we opened a brand new climbing centre in Glasgow. The Prop Store came to life in an old BBC prop store and offers both bouldering and roped climbing. All of our climbing walls offer the very best in climbing facilities and courses, designed for climbers of all abilities. Our staff are always on-hand to offer advice to help you get the very best out of your experience climbing. Cut Editions is a silk-screen printmaking studio specialising in the production of limited edition original artist prints. Established in 2017 by Ni and Ben Gooding, the print studio is based in The Cut Arts Centre, Halesworth, Suffolk. Originally a Victorian Maltings, the building is now home to a theatre, gallery, arts cinema and cafe and has a prestigious cultural programme. Situated on the ground floor, Cut Editions aims to collaborate with artists and designers who wish to make original prints. Artists do not have to have any previous knowledge or experience of the screen printing process. We are here to guide you through every stage. We will give as much or as little help and advice as required. We are able to make editions for artists or artists are welcome to book time in the studio in order to produce work for themselves under our technical supervision. Cut Editions offers screen printing courses and workshops aimed at beginners and the more experienced print-maker. Classes are small and designed to be enjoyable and affordable. Ben Gooding is an artist based in London. He has a 1st class Honours Degree in Fine Art (Printmaking) from the Cambridge School of Art and an MA in Fine Art from Central St. Martin's College of Art and Design. He has since been living and working in London. Alongside his own practice, he teaches printmaking at Camberwell College of Art and is a contributor to Saturation Point Projects.

Hello, I'm Ruth, a yarn spinner and spinning teacher based online and in the beautiful city of Norwich. I call myself an urban spinner. Spinning in the city at first sight has many limitations, I do not have the space or resources for spinning that living in the countryside would afford. Instead I make the most of living in a city and adapt spinning processes to the urban environment. The hints and tips I have learnt from years of spinning in this way give a unique perspective to my spinning workshops. I can still buy fleece from a farmer although I have no transport of my own. I can clean fleece though I have a tiny bathroom and no outside space to dry it. Spinning is not only possible but easy in these situations and my online courses will show you how. The Slow Yarn Spinner is the culmination of a 10-year fascination with yarn. My passion for Spinning has grown from a desire to make my own knitting yarn from sustainable materials to encompass the whole process of turning fleece into yarn. From choosing fleeces, cleaning them, processing, designing yarns and spinning them I love every step of the process. In 2019, I added to my practical knowledge of spinning though my MA dissertation researching spinning as living cultural heritage in Britain today. It is this love of materials, skills and heritage that I put into my workshops.
