It has also changed the way we train. Prior to the invention of the internet, the only way to train was to go to a local training centre and sit in a classroom for a couple of days. Now there is a new way to train. From the comfort of your own sofa, from wherever you are in the world. All of our courses still have the personal touch as our trainers will deliver the training in our virtual classroom via Zoom.This is interactive and you can ask as many questions as you want either at the end of the session or during. We are also at the end of the phone or can support you with any extra information via email. We will then book your exam at your local test centre as soon as you feel ready. So many people have found that they much prefer to train this way, as they retain more information. We have an exceptionally high pass rate to prove it! ewbury Speakers provides a safe, supportive and positive learning experience in which members learn to develop their communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. Members learn and practice in a friendly, non-threatening environment. They learn and practice alongside other people who are there for the same reason. They are taught by people, who just like them, were hesitant about public speaking but have now successfully developed their public speaking skills. Together everyone grows and develops their confidence and communication skills. And, best of all, they usually have fun as they learn. As a non-profit organisation Newbury Speakers is run by volunteers that give their time to help run the club. Community Outreach Newbury Speakers has been part of the Newbury Community for over 35 years. The club has staged numerous events such as free workshops and a Speakers Corner in the Market Place. Members have given speeches at local networking clubs and facilitated Speechcraft courses for corporations in the area. Speechcraft is a program designed to help develop public speaking skills and confidence in front of an audience. These skills are learnt over six two-hour sessions, one session per week. During each session participants learn and practice speaking and communication skills, and have the opportunity to learn and receive feedback from experienced speakers. The skills learnt by the participants, are not only relevant to public speaking but to all situations where verbal communication is required.

Inclusion Expert’s founder, Daniel Sobel, is an internationally respected leader in inclusive education and has advised the DfE, the EU and governments abroad. Daniel is a well-known speaker, writes regularly for publications including Headteacher Update and The Guardian, and is the author of several books including Narrowing the Attainment Gap. Daniel left school with no A Levels and read his first book aged 18. Gradually he fell in love with study and managed to secure a place on a Master’s course in Education Psychology. He went on to take four graduate courses in Psychology and Education, eventually running out of money in the middle of doctoral training. Daniel moved to full time teaching and quickly became a SENCO. Dismayed by how much of the job was pointless meetings and paperwork, he started designing tools to better support his students. During a stint as Assistant Head he continued to develop simple systems to help teachers manage information and maximise the impact of their interventions. Realising that many teachers were struggling with inclusion, that his ideas really worked, and that there was an opportunity to make a difference to children across the country, Daniel left teaching, somewhat hesitantly, to form Inclusion Expert. Over the last few years the company has grown rapidly to encompass a team of experienced practitioners who share Daniel’s vision that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve their potential, regardless of needs, background or ability.

Our Holiday Camps are a great opportunity for your child to recieve professional coaching from FA Qualified Coaches. Most notably, it's a fantastic chance to keep your child active, enjoying football and learning during the half term periods. We offer a 3 day courses with Outdoor and Indoor Facilities. The best thing is - it's ONLY £14 PER DAY! These will run from 9am-3pm. Payments will be accepted on the day(walk-ins) It is important for us to have bookings as early as possible so we can base our sessions/activites/games and days around it. What should you bring with you? Suitable clothing for football (including appropriate footwear) Warm and waterproof clothing in case of bad weather Football boots and shin pads Moulded football boots for hard ground Sun block and a sun hat Full packed lunch and lots to drink All coaches are CRB checked and hold FA coaching qualifications. Qualified first aiders will be present at all times throughout the course. Children will have regular breaks for water, snacks and lunch. The FPFA has full public liability insurance. Anti-Bullying Policy We are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all of our members so they can participate in football in a relaxed and secure atmosphere.
