Windmill Training started in 2005 to help fill the gap in Developing Programmes and in Teaching Vocational, Basic and Life Skills for Mental Health Service Users – in hospitals, supported housing projects and secure units. Our successful approach to working with service users and the mental health sector led to us working with other industries who also wanted to develop their knowledge and understanding of mental ill health. We focus on different students in different ways to bring out the best in them. Our Journey Our founder Kazi Ahmed graduated from York University receiving a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics. He started working at different private schools as a Math teacher and on the side, provided home tutoring services. Chris Bolingbroke - The Teddington Trainer Chris has over 16 years of experience; having worked with some of the largest and most exclusive fitness groups in London. Chris has worked as an independent personal trainer for more than 8 years, offering face to face sessions, as well as online group fitness classes. Acclaimed for his ability for increasing fitness, strength, definition and maneuverability, no matter where you are with your fitness journey. Chris trained as a professional dancer, giving him a great understanding of core technique and a unique technical understanding of the body. Since qualifying as a personal trainer in 2006, Chris has worked for some of the largest Gym groups including Virgin Active, Reebok Gym and the prestigious American fitness company Equinox. Chris is able to put each client at ease, whilst also bringing a great sense of motivation, and energy. Every session is tailored to you, and is relevant to your goals and lifestyle, even outside of the training session. Complimenting his fitness training, Chris also leads the Acrobatic Arts course at the award winning dance school Teddington Dance Studio. Chris has also featured in numerous global commercial and fitness campaigns for the likes of Mens Health, Fitness First, Sports Direct, Virgin Active, Maxi Nutrition, GQ British and Jaguar. Outside of work Chris is an active tennis player, mountain biker and snowboarder.

On average a young person in long-term foster care is likely to have the opportunity to spend time with their parents and siblings four to six times per year. It is often hard for families to come to terms with the fact that they are not able to live together- it is vital that when they can spend time together it is supported, constructive and safe. We offer a choice of activity based environments for our supported contact sessions, our staff provide support and encouragement for young people and their families to engage in a range of activities, strengthening relationships and providing guidance where needed. This results in everyone getting a positive experience from the time spent together and the activity focus can help to detract from painful memories.
