This expression forms our ethos, drives our curriculum and reminds us of our common goal to ensure all students reach their full potential. Family Mindful Photography Workshops are an inclusive photography project to enable parents and their children with little or no experience of photography to start their own artistic practice while building their confidence. Using the participants’ own cameras (this includes a smartphone camera), this project aims to introduce children to the art of photography. “I got in contact with Pierre recently to devise and deliver ‘Family Mindful Photography Workshops’ at Autograph Gallery. The workshops exceeded expectation with the level of thought and attention to detail in planning, as well as Pierre’s putting families at ease that were new to the Gallery and partaking in photography. Everyone- parents and children- left high praise in their feedback from the activities, they were extremely happy with the activities and with the way Pierre engaged with them throughout. The Food Partnership was started by local residents in 2003, and our committed team of staff & volunteers deliver a range of food projects which have helped over 15,000 local people learn to cook, grow their own food, eat a healthier diet and waste less. Eating is central to life’s celebrations and memories, and our approach is to use this power of food to bring about change. Much of our work benefits vulnerable adults and people experiencing deprivation, isolation, poor health and other life challenges. Our activities makes lasting changes to habits and behaviours which improve lives. We’re a not-for-profit organisation and we work with a wide range of partners including community organisations, statutory agencies, local businesses and individual residents. Our work has been recognised by independent bodies – most recently awarded ‘Non profit of the year’ 2019 at the Brighton & Hove Business Awards, ‘Team of the Year’ at the Cost Sector Catering Awards 2019 and the ‘Community Benefit Award’ at the 2019 Southeast RICS awards for the build project to create the Community Kitchen. We led Brighton & Hove’s successful submission for ‘Gold Sustainable Food City’ status. We hold the PQASSO Level 2 quality mark, and are proud to be a Living Wage employer. Fingal Community College celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 2010, having been set up in September 1985 with 72 students enrolled. The College now has an enrolment of 880 students. Our former Principal Sharon McGrath and current Principal Martina Donnellan were appointed in September 2009. In 2017 Margaret McDaid joined the senior management team as Deputy Principal. Under the leadership of this trio, Fingal Community College flourished. In 2021 Rachel Gorey joined as the second Deputy Principal. Prior to 2009, Fingal CC developed and thrived under the management of Principal Tony Keeling and Deputy Principal Joe Smith for 24 years.

We love Leamington Spa in the UK, and we love being part of a fantastic church community that is really seeking to make a difference. The church has a rich history upon which we are building for future generations. The church building, formerly known as St. Michael’s, was built around 1900 and was the chapel to a girl’s reformatory school. During the 1930s, many families in Leamington Spa were becoming Christians, and so a Pentecostal movement bought the building, using it for regular church services. The church, now called Life Community Church, became part of a network of Pentecostal churches called the AoG (Assemblies of God), which is made up of around 600 churches in Great Britain, and is the sixth largest denomination worldwide. In 2012, there was a leadership transition and David and Leanne Bolton felt the call of God to lead the church and start an exciting journey of repurposing it. Their dream today, like those in the past, is to see many more families in Leamington Spa and across the globe, coming to faith in Jesus. Today, we are a growing, life-giving church for all ages and backgrounds, and God is drawing people to us from all nationalities. LCC exists to help people grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Whether people arrive with no faith and are exploring Christianity for the first time, or have been Christians for many years, there is a place for everyone. We believe that Jesus came to give people LIFE and that is what this church is all about. Our vision is to be a thriving "Glocal" (global/ local) community of people who KNOW GOD, GROW TOGETHER and GO! MAKE A DIFFERENCE (or KNOW - GROW - GO!) Our future is bright and full of purpose. We believe that as a church and in partnership with other people and organisations that we can make a difference. From helping people in our community who are trapped in poverty and homelessness, to reaching people on the mission field of India; we are playing our part to see our community changed.
