Welcome to Kemp Pilates! I've been teaching Pilates since 2005 and practising it long before. I love how it enables you to create freer movement and get out of pain. It works the whole body from the inside out to create a lengthened body, stabilises the joints, and maintains balance, strength and flexibility. I'm an experienced Pilates teacher, having worked with lots of different bodies. Pilates is perfect for recovering from injury or managing and improving on-going conditions. I'm particularly experienced in working with clients with neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's and stroke. I also work with clients with arthritis, osteoporosis, hyper-mobility, scoliosis, slipped discs and more. As a mum of 4 children I know how Pilates can be invaluable in supporting you mentally and physically. I can liaise with medical practitioners for an integrated approach. I offer 1:1 (£50), 2:1(£60) and small group classes (£12pp) from my home studio in East Sussex, in person, or virtually via Zoom or Skype, and out in the forest at Bedgebury Pinetum. I'm also a fully qualified teacher of The Danielle Collins Face Yoga Method comprising facial exercise, relaxation, facial massage, acupressure and wellbeing. I'm a previously P.E hating yoga fanatic who been practising yoga for 24 years and teaching for 7. I always saw myself as a nerdy, non-athletic kid in school until I discovered yoga and the benefits it has on both the body and the mind. When I was going through my teacher training I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Although this diagnosis has been in a lot of ways a negative for me there has also been positives. It has changed the way I practise yoga and the way I teach - it has made me so aware of how yoga can help people with physical limitations like me own, and how it can help people deal with mental affects of these conditions. I am now a Yoga Alliance, British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Federation of Northern Ireland certified teacher who was nominated for Yoga Provider of the Year 2019 in the Health and Fitness Awards NI and winner of the Yoga Instructor of the Year 2020/2021 in the Prestige awards Northern Ireland, specialising in a completely inclusive yoga, bringing yoga to everyone no matter what your physical limitations are. I bring yoga to people who aren't able to go to a 'standard' class, people who can't leave the house, people who didn't think yoga could ever be something they could do.

I also have a passion for football, but I’m not going to bore people who I follow. I believe keeping in shape goes hand in hand with the sports I play, so I also enjoy going to the gym on a regular basis. FAVOURITE GOLF COURSE Difficult one as I have played all over the world. But for me it has to be a course close to home. Every time I go to Royal Birkdale, I know I’m playing a special golf course. A true test of golf from 1-18, there is no let up around this links. We are affiliated to the IDTA which demonstrates our staff all have the relevant qualifications and allow our pupils to take exams if they wish. Over the years several of our dancers have achieved numerous dance qualifications, attended some of the top performing arts schools in London, and a few have now returned having achieved their teaching qualifications to pass on their passion and love of dance to the next generation. We pride ourselves on being a dance school for all abilities and treat each dancer as an individual so we can cater for each individual’s needs. Our past dancers consider us their second home and proud to the part of the Dance Factory family. We opened in the year 2000 in Sutton Coldfield and quickly achieved a good reputation. The school went from strength to strength which enabled us in 2012 to move to Tamworth and have our own premises. This has been the making of our school with people travelling from Birmingham, Staffordshire, Leicestershire and Warwickshire to be part of such a professional and successful Studios. The Dance Factory has consistently achieved outstanding exam results and won numerous awards. We train all pupils to the highest standards be that as a hobby or for the dancer to pursue a professional career.
