Having taken early retirement, I am now ready for the new challenge of promoting the importance and love of cooking in the wider community and decided to join Cook Stars in order to further this goal. I just loved the name 'Cook Stars'. Cooking allows every child the opportunity to shine in their own unique way and I'm so excited to be running children's cooking classes. I instantly knew I needed to be involved in this business in order to create an abundance of 'stars' armed with essential life skills. Learning to cook is such an important life skill but unfortunately over the years less and less time has been given to this subject in the school curriculum and many children have not been able to experience what they should have. Cooking has never been more important than it is now with increased obesity rates, diabetes and other food related disorders. I am so excited to be able to contribute to improving a person's health and well-being through cooking. I am married with two children, both in their twenties. They have been away at university but still want to come home for some 'proper food'!! In my spare time I like to follow sport and I am a Cardiff City Season ticket holder. I also swim regularly and recently swam the length of the English Channel for charity. Holidaying somewhere hot is also a must!

As a young adult, my passion for the perfect pieces of jewellery for me saw me travelling to craft fairs and designer shows in the search for something just right. I rarely found what I wanted. In 1999, whilst I was a teacher of biology, I attended a local jewellery making evening class with the intention of making the collections that I really wanted to wear. That was the start of everything you will see on this site. My love affair with jewellery blossomed and I was inspired by that first evening to enroll on short specialist courses and I started to read books...lots and lots of books! I started to make and sell my jewellery on a part time basis, whilst still teaching. In 2002, I made two moves: I moved with my husband, two young children and labrador dog to the Cambridgeshire countryside whilst at the same time moving out of teaching and into making and selling my jewellery full time. From those beginnings, I'm proud to say that that I continue to personally design all the collections in the KFD Jewellery range, and they are all hand crafted in my Cambridgeshire workshop. For the past 20 plus years I've pursued my dream and passion of creating beautiful and elegant handcrafted jewellery that ladies love. My wish is that every piece of jewellery I've created helps you feel unique, sophisticated and stylish whenever you wear it. My more recent collection are infused with meaning as well as looking beautiful. Jewellery that resonates with you is more likely to be jewellery that feels authentically you.

WHO WE ARE British Home Tutors (BHT) is a collegiate group of around 60 school teachers who work or have worked at independent schools in the London area such as Westminster, St Paul’s, Latymer, Eton, Harrow, UCS, Highgate, Bute House and other top performing English private schools. We are a small organisation who have been operating in central London for almost 20 years. Our intention is to remain small so that we can retain strong quality control over what we provide. This means that at certain times of the academic year, demand exceeds supply for our services. Our unique selling point is the fact that we are classroom teachers who provide home tuition in our spare time e.g. evenings after school, at weekends and during the holidays. I meet many subtle revolutionaries. One thing most have in common is that they struggle to describe what it is they do. They are doing something unique and it does not have a name yet. They may work with individuals, families or organisations. They may call themselves a consultant, founder, coach, designer, therapist, trainer, teacher, facilitator, researcher or leader. Often, they are all of these things and more. What they have in common is they are making lives better in new and unexpected ways. This is not a straightforward path. Few workplaces welcome any of the three qualities. I have yet to find one that wants all three. Working on the big picture is seen as a distraction from the urgent business of the day. It is easy to pick up the message that the approach - perhaps your greatest strength - has no value. That leads to unfulfilling work and the exhaustion of trying to be someone you are not. When you try to use these qualities, you will meet another challenge. Most of the existing advice will not work for you effectively. It is either outdated or just plain wrong. Some of it will even make things worse. This leads to anxiety and frustration. Perhaps even the sense of being a failure when things just don’t work out as intended time after time. I provide space as you reclaim the qualities that make you unique. I offer guidance as we explore ways to turn that uniqueness into a valuable enterprise. Hi I'm Hem, the founder of Self Love Self Care System I am an angel connector that can help you to tap into your spiritual gifts, I teach and love yoga and I am also a healer too. I am on a mission to help people to heal themselves by understanding and incorporating love and care into their lives by using a whole host of tools that I have accumulated over my life. Over the years I have created a great deal of change in my own life and this has inspired me to share what I have learnt. A huge turning point in my life drew me towards coaching and using self love healing and angel connecetions/readings as a modality to create a fantastic life. My own metamorphosis was created by a deep understanding of pain that hit me when my life fell apart and my relationship pushed me to face up to every decision that I had ever made. In 2020 when the world was tumbling around all our ears, I decided to train to be yoga teacher, I love yoga. I believe that it helps us to heal, integrate and bring more love into our lives. This then helps us to understand who we are. I have been meditating since 11 years old and trained to teach this during my Reiki training and then again in my yoga training. I love the spiritual side of life, I am also fascinated by science. When I am not on a journey to heal and love...I adore reading, yoga, going on holidays, studying and having fun with lovely people.

I have made my CSCS card labourer at Crystal&Co in Harrow on the Hill and the staff was supper polite! I have received the electronic format of the CSCS card and certificate within 3 days from the course and I started the job quickly. Very happy with the customer service they provide! I needed a CSCS card labourer asap and Crystal&Co was the only place where I was able to take the course on a Sunday as I work from Monday to Saturday. On Thursday I received the electronic version of the CSCS card and the H&S certificate by email and I was able to start working. A few days later I received the card via Royal Mail because I live far away. Very polite and friendly staff. Strongly recommend Crystal&Co for the amazing service they provide. The staff at Crystal&Co is very friendly! I was told about this centre by my friend, he did his CSCS card at this centre and was very pleased with the services. I now found a job as a Labourer on a construction site so my advise to you is to take the course if you need it done fast and proper! Good luck to all! Great experience. On Thursday I made a reservation for Saturday. It was a one day class with the exam at the end. The course was well explained by the teacher, the exam was easy and from the information we received during the class. On Thursday I received the electronic version of the CSCS card, and I started the job. Thank you, Crystal&Co, I recommend with confidence!

I am a qualified school teacher my specialist subject is physical education (PE) I'm also a martial arts instructor and I started training in Taekwondo in 1986 at Panther Taekwondo, I gained my black belt in 1990 and wanted a new challenge, so I started going on different coaching courses to increase my coaching knowledge. While studying for my teaching degree I joined an organisation called Teachsport. With Teachsport, I went on to develop a school's martial arts program which involves going into primary schools and teaching children taekwondo and fitness. Once I graduated from University, I decided to introduce martial arts as a PE option to our Teachsport programme to help children with their coordination and confidence. We now run numerous after- school clubs throughout London and the south east, covering a range of different sports. I have recently gained the status of vice president at Panther Taekwondo and Song Moo Kwan England my duties include safeguarding and wellbeing of students and instructors. I now work in schools in Haringey, Lewisham and Redbridge teaching PE and supporting teachers in how to deliver good to outstanding PE.
