Clubb Chimera Martial Arts provides a bespoke service in the form of private lessons, courses, seminars and webinars. I teach self-protection and martial arts. These are regarded as separate topics and taught in this fashion, although longer-term clients are taught how one can hugely benefit the other.  Self-protection lessons are a fully comprehensive yet tailored service including in depth training in soft skills (personal security/non-physical skills) and hard skills (self-defence/physical skills). This usually takes the form of 10 hour (10 x 1 hour lessons or 2 x 5 seminars) and are shaped in accordance to the demands of the client. Subjects range from children's self-protection to edged weapon/knife awareness to work-specific violence management. Training covers the anatomy of self-protection from pre-incident to post-incident, social and asocial violence, different threat levels and an understanding of the law in relation to self-defence.  Martial arts lessons specialise in Boxing, Muay Thai/Kickboxing, Wrestling, Submission Grappling, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) and weapons training. These can be learnt as individual disciplines or as a form of attribute training. My emphasis is on martial arts cross-training.  Most of my personal training is provided in Heythrop near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire but I also travel to local client's homes. Training can also be provided online via Skype or Zoom. I also teach seminars and courses both nationally and internationally. My clients range from private individuals to corporations to martial arts clubs (where I provide teacher training and consultancy) to small groups and organisations.

V Learning Network is a charitable company originally set up in 2001 as the lead of a consortium created to deliver adult and young people mainstream funded education. The consortium was made up of independent training providers in the Third Sector throughout Devon and Cornwall. In August 2021, due to some changes in funding, the nature and focus of the company shifted slightly. We are used to working in a proactive and agile way so have been able to adapt, evolve and innovate, and continue to do so. To fit the growing needs of the business and to strengthen our brand identity, we have changed the company name to V Learning Network trading as Step into Learning – Step Into Learning will be the sole, public facing name used across all our touchpoints going forwards. We still offer young people mainstream funded education and we currently work with three charities and Community Interest Groups (The Outdoor Place, Transferable Skills Training, Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change), enabling them to deliver high quality training by providing sustainable funding. The funding allows our partners to offer a range of training opportunities and deliver quality programmes within Cornwall. Step Into Learning also delivers quality, in-house training, projects and services via its own training division. Step Into Learning is based in Launceston, Cornwall, however, our reach extends much further. We offer training across Devon and Cornwall and have the scope to cover any geographical location due to our flexible delivery – face to face, blended learning (mix of face to face and online) and online. Step Into Learning specialise in working with learners looking to open up new career pathways, or those looking to get back into work. We are committed to giving back to our local community: * SILC is our counselling service providing free, confidential counselling for the Launceston community. * Our community larder for Launceston opened in May 2022. The focus of the community larder is reducing food waste and giving local people access to nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste.

I graduated in 2005 with a BEd Honours Degree in Physical Education from Stranmillis University College, Belfast, Northern Ireland. After graduating I moved to Coogee Beach, Sydney, Australia to teach Preschool initially. I’ve always been Health & Fitness crazy, so after living there for just a short space of time I became exposed to the amazing, positive attitudes to the healthy lifestyle. Whilst grabbing the opportunity with two hands I jumped right into this industry as a career in Australia. When I returned home to Northern Ireland in 2006 I taught for a few years in schools but I never seemed to settle. There was always something brewing down deep in my gut to pursue a different career path. I absolutely love being a school teacher but my passion is definitely in fitness.

Be.well (formerly Yoga.Time) was founded in 2020 in Nottingham in order to support and foster the sense of mindfulness and peace in the surrounding community. My name is Paula, I am the founder of Be.well. I am a 200 hours Certified Yoga Teacher trained in Vinyasa yoga (YogaUnion) and Yin Yoga (Anjali). I have been a yoga student since 2016 and a teacher since 2020. I have a Level 3 VTCT Diploma in Massage Therapy from White Rose Beauty College in Derby and additional certificates in Pregnancy Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Acupressure Massage from Gateway Workshops. I am a certified Meditation Teacher (The Priority Academy) and have practiced and taught meditation from different lineages and methods, as well as writing my own meditation scripts to access the specific areas of the mind and help my clients in the way that is most suitable for them. James Mursell has been making Windsor chairs for 26 years. He was introduced to them by veteran teacher Jack Hill, on a course at West Dean College. Subsequently he studied with Mike Dunbar, one of America’s leading experts on Windsor chairs, and has been a full-time professional chairmaker for the past 20 years. James Mursell initially made chairs to commission, selling through galleries and shows. As tine went on he started The Windsor Workshop to teach Windsor chair making, building a new purpose-built workshop in 2006. He has developed a range of specialist chair making tools. These include his unique travisher for shaping chair seats, and spokeshaves During the first COVID lockdown he developed two new scraper tools.He sells these tools all over the world to discerning woodworkers.
