Felpham Community College is a community school which means that it is run by the local authority, which employs the staff, owns the land and buildings and decides which ‘admissions criteria’ to use, (these are used to allocate places if the school has more applicants than places). Its International Schools Award provides recognition that an international ethos is embedded throughout the school and that a majority of students within the school are involved in international work. The Healthy Schools Award and Sport England Award demonstrate the school’s commitment to encouraging its students to make healthier life-style choices and to participate in sport above and beyond the school sports curriculum. As one of only 39 personal finance centres of excellence, the school has been recognised and rewarded for taking big steps forward in bringing personal finance education to all our students in the school in order develop their knowledge, skills and attitudes in relation to money to equip them for life. Commitment to supporting students with special educational needs is recognised by the Dyslexia Friendly Schools and Autism Aware awards. With these awards teaching and other support staff are able to identify and respond to unexpected difficulties that students may face. In the summer of 2017, the school was awarded Level 2 / Gold Award as a UNICEF Rights Respecting School. The Award recognises the school’s achievement in putting the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child into practice within the school and beyond. As one of only 22 secondary schools with the award initially, the Level 2 Rights Respecting Schools Award is the highest level of the Award and is granted by UNICEF UK to schools that have fully embedded children’s rights throughout the school in its policies, practice and ethos. Governors and staff employed at Felpham Community College are committed and work hard to create an exciting and engaging curriculum for all students. The school believes in getting the basics right; so it has focused on developing a safe, calm and purposeful learning environment with excellent student behaviour and a smart school uniform. The Rose Arts London was always a childhood dream of mine and it was manifested through a pain in my life, with the loss of my Grandad; Charles Alexander Gardner. He, alongside my Mother and Nan, supported me with my dance and drama training, performance career and attended all classes, auditions and performances. When he passed away, it pushed me to embrace my artistry and passions. The Rose represents three things: A dedication to my Grandad; His favourite flower A name influence; My middle name Rosetta and my mother Rosemarie The flourish of each child who trains with us. As a seed they begin but as ‘The Rose’ they grow. Experience My training began at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and have been training in every discipline, since the age of 3 and teaching dance and drama since the age of 14. Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Liturgical, Street Dance, Jazz, Commercial and Musical Theatre. Further to this, I attended college studied Performing Arts, obtaining distinctions in the art form, allowing me to receive an unconditional offer to University, where I obtained my degree in Dance Practice and Performance. I have had an extensive career in the arts, through stage, film and television and have received such amazing opportunities I am truly grateful for. About T.R.A.L. T.R.A.L. is a place for all Rose Students to discover, train, explore, create, challenge and motivate what they learn here and to ignite their passion, of why dance, drama, sport and song is such an amazing artistic outlet, which not only teaches creativity and utilises talent but also discipline. The role of the arts builds character and self-esteem and at The Rose Arts London, one of the assets that I hold as an important part, is the family friendly atmosphere.This delivers a guarantee from us, that our space is a positive and productive learning environment, where our students can grow, most importantly learn, and create in an energetic, confident building atmosphere. Students are able to discover more about themselves artistically, gain new friends and be proud to be a part of The Rose Arts. Myself and our teachers, who have work(ed) within the industry, aim to continually make The Rose Arts London a success, with the passion we hold and with which, our goal is to impart our experiences, knowledge and love of the arts to our students. I have been blessed to be able to open a school, attended by such passionate students, to be able to witness how they will develop in years to come. For whatever reason you decided to take a leap with us, whether it to be a creative outlet, confidence builder, opportunity to meet new people, train to become a professional or all the above – I expect all to work hard, train hard, practice, be respectful, be challenged, but most importantly enjoy every moment of the journey.

Bitesize Bootcamp offers Bootcamp inspired fitness sessions, on site at your location run by qualified Physical Education teachers and experienced Bootcamp coaches! At Bitesize Bootcamp we offer tailored, fun, exciting and challenging sports and programmes for children aged 3 to 16 years, all fully risk assessed. We provide Schools, parents and children with programmes designed to develop the physical, emotional and social well being. I want to inspire children to want to achieve more both physically and in life itself. I have always been enthusiastic about sport , this led me to the Football scholarship in the USA , and to coaching in Australia and eventually into teaching PE at Highfield Priory School in Preston. When I started my early morning exercise club at Highfield I found that the fun and energetic sessions were full. The children came early to school, the parents were early, we had fun and the children started their day enthused and happy. This was when I decide to develop the Bitesize Business further”.
