Limitless Academy of Performing Arts is a multi-award-winning theatre school where we look to set exceptional standards in our tuition and our productions. We firmly believe that we offer the best drama school experience in all of Hertfordshire. Our founding members have vast experience and continued success within the industry and are highly qualified. This gives them unique insight and experience that provides a depth of training not usually associated part-time theatre schools. We're extremely proud of all of our teaching staff and use more use more working professionals from the world of Television, Film, Theatre and West End, than any other drama school in Hertfordshire. CLASSES Here at Limitless Academy we offer a range of classes covering drama, dance, and singing in a number of disciplines. Students can choose a combination course where all disciplines are covered, or choose to take a dedicated course where they focus on one single discipline. We have a number of courses for adults, young adults, and children. So whether you're looking to act, sing, or dance on film or the stage, you can be sure to find the right course for you. THEATRE AND FILM PRODUCTIONS We have created over thirty theatre and film productions in the last five years, including festival award-winning plays, short films, and full length musicals performed in theatres. Our students have also won individual best actor awards on local, national and international platforms. This has aided many of our alumni students in gaining places in full-time accredited performing arts and music colleges. Hexagon Care Services offers national coverage, with over 50 residential children’s homes and schools, and contracts with numerous local authorities across England. In 2014, Hexagon Care Services registered and took over the management of a number of long-established children’s homes. Since then, the company has grown from strength to strength. We pride ourselves on our close relationships with our partner agencies. As such, we have developed a range of innovative services designed to meet the evolving needs of our local authority partners.

Mansfield School of Music was established in the early 90’s as a private school for musical tuition by Roy Mansfield McGillivray and is now owned and managed by his daughter, Caitlin.                                                                          Mansfield is committed to providing musical tuition to adults and children at all levels. We offer individual and group instrumental and vocal lessons with qualified, professional musicians who are experienced in teaching and performance.

At KDA we also offer many opportunities to train with industry professionals throughout the year doing various workshops in various styles. During school holidays we put on dance days for our students and in the summer holiday we hold our annual school where the children attend daily for the week working on different dance styles, performance skills and singing techniques. Through out the week they work on routines and songs that we the present in a mini show at the end of the week for parents and carers.

Living Song exists to empower Young Artists and build communities through singing. We challenge limiting assumptions about what all young people can achieve, put young leaders centre stage and create innovative lifelong learning opportunities for all, insisting on diversity and inclusion in their widest sense. In August 2017, Living Song became a Community Interest Community (CIC) to enable us to build wider partnerships with Newham Council and other organizations, develop our funding steams and to create more opportunities for young people and communities to shine through singing. An advisory board was appointed, and we have continued to go from strength to strength. Who Are We? The company is directed by an Executive Director, with a board of two Non-Executive Directors and a team of advisors from across a wide range of music performance and education contexts. We have a Youth Board of five young people aged 16 – 25 who meet regularly to discuss and advise of relevant issues for them. We work with a range of tutors, artists and music practitioners, identified for their bespoke skills and experience for each project. Who Do We Work With? We work with schools and pupil referral units, community organisations, music education hubs, libraries, local authorities, commercial organisations, businesses and a range of community singing groups and choirs. What We Do Living Song has recently reviewed its work programme to see how it can be streamlined to maximise our impact. During the next 18 months – two years we will focus our attention on delivering three core programme areas which are: A Young Artist apprenticeship /’future leaders’ programme Delivering workshops in schools and the wider community A tailored Living Song Choral Music Experience (CME) These work areas are outlined in more detail below. Although distinct projects, the three areas of work overlap and reinforce each other, for example, a core element of the young leaders’ programme is the delivery of workshops in schools or for the wider community, and a handful of participants will be chosen to join Living Song’s CME course.
