Ultimately, to break down barriers in the world and reduce the ‘them vs us’ culture that is holding us back. This change starts by encouraging people to talk to each other and also enabling them with the tools to be able to express how they feel in turn, connect on a deeper level. The plight of life is true for every single person. We are in this together. There's a long road ahead of us but a movement starts with one step (from a lot of people). Alan knew that there was a mass urgency for people to be trained to deal with life threatening situations, and was able to offer his experience, and knowledge, in Emergency Medicine at an affordable price so that everyone could learn how to save a life.
