Welcome to the East Neuk Centre Trust We are a charity that works with and for the local community. We run a busy and welcoming Community Centre complex in the heart of Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife. The East Neuk Centre Complex has something for everyone. We have a diverse programme of events offering a number of classes and activities, from childcare, formal education opportunities, sports and exercise, community activities to wedding venues. The East Neuk Centre Trust oversees the management of four buildings, The East Neuk Centre, Cellardyke Town Hall, Anstruther Town Hall, and the Erskine Hall. The halls are of varying sizes which are operated as a single facility by a locally elected Trust in partnership with Fife Council. All our buildings are clean and welcoming and offer a number of different spaces within them. We have meeting rooms, large halls, offices and studios available across the buildings which are available for public or corporate hire at extremely accessible prices. The Cambridge Information and Intellectual Property Meeting (CIIPM) was founded by Jane List of Extract Information and Stuart Newbold of Patent Search & Information Management in 2015. CIIPM hosts an ‘annual’ meeting and provides training in IP matters and patent information search and analysis. The CIIPM meeting provides an opportunity for knowledge sharing for those engaged with the commercialisation of technologies using intellectual property, and those needing information to make legal and commercial decisions. The annual meeting offers an afternoon of talks, workshops, and discussions, a small exhibition, networking opportunities, and has hosted a post graduate student poster competition. CIIPM also provides unique training courses blending theory and practice in IP Matters, IP Commercialisation, and Patent Searching for Legal and Commercial Insights. Training courses take place throughout the year virtually and at venues in Cambridge, UK, or by arrangement at your office or other location. Following the March 2022 meeting CIIPM have established a programme committee to help us maintain the strong programme and networking. We are very pleased that Claudia Duffy, Innovare IP, Isla Furlong, Director of Intellectual Property, PetMedix Ltd. Northern Talent is a dynamic agency with a fresh approach to acting management and casting. We supply professional actors, supporting artistes and models within the North West and East of England to all aspects of the industry including theatre, commercials, television and film. The agency is run by an actress Rachael Delaney who has worked in the industry for over 20 years and gained a BA(Hons) at University. Rachael has worked on stage, television dramas and commercials. She has had many presenting roles for TV and events. The actress leads weekly drama classes in Bradford and Skipton from ages 7 to adult who want to break into TV, Film and theatre. The classes are not only for actors but also for individuals that suffer from low confidence and self-esteem issues. Rachael will help you to believe in yourself again and fight back at this shark eat shark industry/world. She continuously works with casting agents and directors to give actors and students the opportunities to build up their portfolios to help them break into the industry. Many of Northern Talent's artists have already landed roles in major TV and Film productions. Our home is in Gloucestershire but we reach rural writers all over the UK and beyond. Dialect is here to develop talent, connect with communities and offer rural writers opportunities to share their work. Our Story Dialect launched quietly in July 2020 with an online Summer School of taster workshops. A programme of workshops around Stroud Book Festival followed, along with regular critique workshops, courses, a Writer In Residence scheme in partnership with Lake 32 and an Arts Council funded mentoring scheme. We are now offering regular courses focused on the craft of writing and immersive writing workshops in intriguing rural locations. Dialect is now a Community Interest Company, committed to investing in literature and author development. We will soon be launching DIRT, a plantable ecopoetry press… Ethos Dialect speaks from the edges of things. We celebrate the remote and the pastoral, the mountains and hills, the woods and the wilderness, the coasts and waterways, but also the small town and its suburbs, the retail parks, verges, dual carriageways, wastelands, lay-bys, scrapyards, agricultural spaces, derelict mills, industrial estates, motorway services, recycling centres, the spaces and voices in-between.
