Our vision is to see east London’s young people thrive and businesses grow thanks to the work that we do together.  Situated right in the heart of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the space is part of the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC)’s plan to make sure businesses are tapping into local talent. The LLDC teamed up with A New Direction who run the Hub and bring this initiative to life for both young people and employers.  Young people can take advantage of the paid opportunities we publicise, the support we give for freelancers and start-ups, and industry connections we help foster through mentoring and networking, as well as sector specific careers advice and coaching. At the Good Growth Hub, all internship opportunities pay at least the London Living Wage of £11.95 per hour – but we strive for higher.  For businesses, the Good Growth Hub is an excellent resource to establish good working standards and to become more inclusive. Employers are able to both nurture and draw from a talent pipeline that’s eager to show what they can do. We’re always on the lookout for like-minded businesses to partner with us as mentors, speakers and advisors.  So, whether you’re a business, a young person or just someone who shares our passion for Good Growth, we’d love to have you involved.

Hello! Welcome to our website! Who are we? In 2014 Imagine That Drama Classes began with a simple objective – to offer quality, affordable drama classes for the young people of Airdrie. Over the years our classes have grown from strength to strength and in 2020 we became Imagine That Performing Arts Ltd. Our own studios are now located in the most beautiful listed building at the heart of the community. Our students work with our qualified, experienced tutors from the performing arts industry as well as a range of industry experts from across the UK to reach their potential. Imagine That Performing Arts bridges the gap between ‘drama clubs’ and performing arts education. Our range of classes and the opportunities we offer ensure that all students needs are catered for, whether you are just looking for a new hobby or if you want to pursue a career in the arts. We pride ourselves in the opportunities we offer to our students. All students take part in regular productions, as well as theatre trips, casting opportunities, and masterclasses. I began my own Yoga journey in 2002, having suffered from excruciating cluster headaches for some months I decided to see if Yoga could help. Not only did it cure my headaches it also began to take away the aches and pains I had for years in my knees. Although I “found” yoga looking for help for physical ailments, I quickly came to realise the huge benefits to my emotional and mental well being too. Having attended classes with Sam Rao for 16 years, through 2 pregnancies, work challenges, losing family and a close friend I found that Yoga really was the one thing I could turn to for help physically and mentally. In 2018 I took the leap to begin the next part of my Yoga journey and began my training with Sam Rao Yoga School. I began teaching in January 2019. Since graduating I have attended numerous courses and workshops including Teen Yoga, "The Alchemy of Touch", Introduction to teaching pregnancy Yoga, principles of Yin and Restorative Yoga and Thai Massage, and Philosophy in Movement to extend my learning and be able to offer more classes to my yogis. My personal practice remains incredibly important to me. As well as practice at home I attend a regular weekly class, as well as visiting other teachers and attending day and weekend retreats. These are amazing opportunities to self nurture and also improve my own teaching. My wish is to share Yoga with my local community and encourage you to attend a class where you listen to your body, not just my guidance, finding a Yoga practice you can share in class and also take away into your every day life. Recognising that Yoga isn't just about moving but about breath, stillness, connection, how we live our lives, kindness, compassion and nurturing.
