Alyssia Fleur School of Dance is in association with Nation Association of Teachers of Dancing. We offer exams for ages 6+ through NATD. The School offers classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Drama, Musical Theatre, Jazz and Acro Tec, a form of gymnastic dance movement. All Classes are held at the Queensbury Methodist Church Hall, Beverley Drive, Edgware, Middlesex, HA8 5ND Currently, the syllabi of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) are studied in Ballet, Tap, Modern Theatre and Jazz. Students are coached for examinations from Pre-primary to Advanced level and are also given the opportunity for free expression and improvisation. The LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) syllabus is followed in the drama section. BSPA is a registered LAMDA examinations centre so we are now able to hold the exams at our school. During their time at the school, Students are given the opportunity to take part in School Shows, Boot Camps, Summer Schools, Theatre trips and events such as the London New Year’s Day Parade. The Beverley School of Dancing was founded in January 1961, offering classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Ballroom, to boys and girls from 3 years upwards. In 1999, the school changed its name to the Beverley School of Performing Arts, with Drama and Jazz classes being added to the curriculum. In 2009, due to popular demand, singing and street dance were added to compliment the full range of performing arts. In 2021, the school celebrated it’s 60th Anniversary. A memory book was presented to the founder Miss Pear, a Virtual Show was performed and a party with invited guests was held at the Queensbury Methodist Church Hall, where the School has held classes since 1961. 2022 promises to be yet another ground breaking year for the school, with student numbers increasing and exciting new classes being introduced.

The Rose Arts London was always a childhood dream of mine and it was manifested through a pain in my life, with the loss of my Grandad; Charles Alexander Gardner. He, alongside my Mother and Nan, supported me with my dance and drama training, performance career and attended all classes, auditions and performances. When he passed away, it pushed me to embrace my artistry and passions. The Rose represents three things: A dedication to my Grandad; His favourite flower A name influence; My middle name Rosetta and my mother Rosemarie The flourish of each child who trains with us. As a seed they begin but as ‘The Rose’ they grow. Experience My training began at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and have been training in every discipline, since the age of 3 and teaching dance and drama since the age of 14. Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Liturgical, Street Dance, Jazz, Commercial and Musical Theatre. Further to this, I attended college studied Performing Arts, obtaining distinctions in the art form, allowing me to receive an unconditional offer to University, where I obtained my degree in Dance Practice and Performance. I have had an extensive career in the arts, through stage, film and television and have received such amazing opportunities I am truly grateful for. About T.R.A.L. T.R.A.L. is a place for all Rose Students to discover, train, explore, create, challenge and motivate what they learn here and to ignite their passion, of why dance, drama, sport and song is such an amazing artistic outlet, which not only teaches creativity and utilises talent but also discipline. Award-winning conductor, pianist and composer, Claudio Di Meo has established himself internationally as an exceptional talent in orchestral and choral music, bringing clarity, integrity and dynamism to his interpretation of wide-ranging repertoire. Winner of the International Conducting Competition Westminster London with the London Classical Soloists, Claudio Di Meo began his musical life in Italy, where he studied piano, composition and conducting, winning First Prize at the Italian National Choir Conducting Competition in 2011 and First Prize at the Enrico Caruso International Competition in 2014. An ardent exponent of the music of Sibelius, Claudio is a member of the prestigious Sibelius Society Italia, whose Honorary President is Sir Antonio Pappano.
