We are proud to teach over 7,000 young musicians every week and believe that practical music making is for everyone. Our inclusive approach not only ensures that each individual makes musical progress but that they also develop a wider range of educational, social and life skills that support the well-being of young people and their families. We also offer a broad range of support and training for schools in a drive to continue to raise national curriculum standards and broaden musical opportunities for all young people in Wakefield. Kiddibops is proud to introduce our highly skilled and committed team. Each one of us is a qualified teacher with (QTS) and a professional early years music specialist. We are all musicians and are passionate about music education. We dedicate ourselves to delivering the best quality music-play classes that nurture musicianship, creativity and confidence in the youngest of children. The Kiddibops team, with the help of their assistant Bramble Bunny, use singing, rhymes, movement, child led music-play, free-flow and directed instrument play in all Kiddibops sessions. Kiddibops classes include a variety of activities that use music from different times, genres and cultures. Our sessions are sensory, but not over-stimulating. We only use simple songs to allow children to develop them at home in their private play, thus supporting deeper learning and transformative skills. All sessions have a clear structure to ensure little ones feel safe and confident so they get the most out of their experience. We are all about building genuine relationships with our children and respecting them as articulate musical beings. Rachel and the team keep up to date with new research relating to music-play, music practice and early learning development. Kiddibops is passionate about using music to develop social interaction and communication skills and delivers bespoke intervention sessions to support children with SEN. Music is a significantly important tool in connecting with children who are non or pre-verbal and allows children with limited speech and language skills a way to communicate and express themselves using music as a protolanguage. Kiddibops is also a Dementia Friend and runs popular and successful Intergenerational Music Classes in local residential homes to support well-being and cognition in dementia patients. These classes also encourage the growth of beautiful relationships between residents and local families.

Fran Carpenter is the Managing Director of Frantic Productions Ltd. Frantic was formed in 1998. A prolific writer of school music resources and Christmas nativity plays and musicals, Fran has more than 20 years' experience of teaching early years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 as a music co-ordinator and specialist class music teacher. Fran's catalogue of school musicals and music education resources is growing all the time, and her nativity plays and musical productions have been performed worldwide in thousands of primary schools. Fran also worked for several years in school television and educational video production. She worked as a member of the producer's team on a series of BBC's Look and Read and on a TEFL video for Pearson Education, and was a co-writer of the accompanying teachers' resource packs. She is a member of the Orff Society UK and much of her music for children is inspired by the creative Orff approach to music education. In addition to her writing work, Fran runs music workshops in nurseries and schools and CPD teacher training courses for music hubs and teacher training colleges. These courses are highly regarded and provide teachers and students with a whole host of ideas for creative music making with early years and primary children. Frantic Productions is also a Music Hub Partner of Bournemouth's Music Hub, SoundStorm, running projects for Bournemouth primary schools and early years providers. South West Music School is a charity working with talented young instrumentalists, singers and composers aged 8 – 19 years in the South West of England. Due to the geographical nature of the South West, we are not building based but are a ‘virtual’ school working with young people on an individual basis in their local area. In addition, our students come together on a regular basis to collaborate, create, learn new skills and perform together. South West Music School is part of a national network of Centres of Advanced Training supported by the Department for Education Music and Dance Scheme for exceptionally talented young musicians. Funding provided by the DfE can ensure that each student has adequate resources to undertake involvement with SWMS and that all costs are met according to need (there is an optional section within our application form to help us determine your grant eligibility). South West Music School (SWMS) provides students with the same standard of music education as specialist music schools and junior conservatoires. The additional benefit of SWMS is that it allows students to stay in their existing education and continue to take part in other current musical (and non-musical) activities in their local communities. South West Music School covers each county in the South West region: Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Bristol, Gloucestershire, BaNES and Wiltshire. How much does it cost? The cost of a place at SWMS depends on the specific programme and tailored package of activities provided for each student. We work with families to ensure we place students on the right programme and with the right level of support for ability level, age, musical interest, and budget. SWMS students have access to means-tested grants from the Department of Education’s Music & Dance Scheme. A full grant will cover the entire costs of a place with South West Music School, as well as providing additional financial support for activities such as instrumental tuition. The Schlossakademie opened its doors in 2018 with the first International Music Festival «Schlossfestspiele Hohenpriessnitz». An innovative format includes different types of music education under the same roof. Each masterclass participant gets unique and very special experience. Internationally renown pedagogues in violin, cello, piano, composition and orchestral conducting share their secrets of instrumental playing, which they have discovered and perfected during many years of practice. Our students perform at the concerts along with the professors, presenting a rich and versatile program at a high international level for sophisticated European audience. We are proud to have excellent internationally renowned professors and concert musicians teaching in our academy. Upcoming master courses will be lead by Prof. Boris Kuschnir, Prof. Frans Helmerson, Prof. Viktor Tretiakov, Prof. Pavel Vernikov; such instrumental ensembles as Borodin Quartet, Kopelman Quartet, Quartetto di Cremona and many more. In 2021, the «Schlossakademie GmbH» company, based in Hamburg, was founded. Our masterclasses take place regularly in various locations in Hamburg, such as Villa Rahlstedt, Bechstein Centrum, Tschaikowsky-Haus, Alfred Schnittke Akademie International, as well as periodically in other international locations.

The British Kodály Academy promotes the advancement of British music education, following the teachings of Zoltán Kodály. The Kodály Approach – musicianship through singing – provides tools to develop fundamentals such as pulse, inner hearing, good tuning and sight reading ability. It’s said to be life-changing! Zoltán Kodály Courses are available for everyone wanting to develop their own singing, musicianship and conducting skills, whilst teachers are helped to develop skills and confidence to deliver music lessons at all levels: Early Years, KS1, KS2, KS3 and beyond – to Higher Education and Instrumental teaching. The structured, sequential learning process is based on an understanding of how musical skills and concepts are absorbed through practical activity and singing, using appropriate repertoire – from simple children’s songs to complex art music.
