I became a personal trainer after I decided that I wanted to help all women to level up, earn the confidence and love they deserve in their lives through the fusion of modern dancing and old-time burlesque. I wanted to be able to help my clients to feel amazing, have fun and enjoy their workouts. I am helping them increase their physical flexibility and strength, their personal confidence and be able to find peace with their physical and mental health. Adele is one of leading tap dancers in the UK. Adele trained at Tiffany Theatre School, Masters and Expressions Theatre Arts. Adele took her training further in America. Adele is a founding member of a London Based Tap Company, Old Kent Road and Andrew Nemr’s USA based company, ‘Cat’s Paying Dues’ where she performed as part of their 10th Anniversary show Off-Broadway. Old Kent Road have had a number of UK tours including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Sadlers Wells,The Bunker and 2 International tours in China. Adele was invited to join The School of Jacob Pillow - 2019 Tap Dance Programme which lead to staring in a new show in the USA, 'What is thing called Love' which premiered in New Hampshire in 2022. Adele regularly performs at the London Tap Jam and with The Michele Drees Tap Project. This includes Glastonbury Music Festival, Love Supreme Jazz Festival and a number of famous jazz venues. She represented England in the Tap Dance World Championships in Resia, Germany. Adele is passionate about the art form and is a specialist in improvisation. Adele has performed at Ronnie Scotts, 606 Club and the Vortex to name a few jazz clubs you're most likely to find her! Recently, Adele has become a special guest for the world famous Jive Aces which has led her to many West End performances. Adele appeared on BBC One as part of the Women’s FA Cup Semi Finals. Adele worked with Lionsgate Productions when releasing the DVD of LaLaLand. Adele is a choreographer for Tap Attack, Performing Arts Colleges and International Shows. In September 2016 the London Academy was launched in East London by champion level dancer Erin Coyle. The aim was to provide Irish dance and culture activities to the people from what used to be a heavily Irish influenced area. Erin, who is of Irish descent and grew up in East London, has been dancing since the age of seven and quickly fell in love with the sport and regularly competed all over England until the age of fifteen. After finishing college, and spending a few years establishing a career as a chef in Michelin star restaurants, Erin was offered a job in House of Lords which gave her the weekends off, so at the age of 21, she came back to Irish Dance. In was a matter of months Erin started to compete and quickly climbed to championship level again. Since then she has gained 2nd at All Irelands, 3rd at British, Irish and German Open and in 2018 became a world medal holder for the first time after placing 11th place at the WIDA World Championships. Erin combines her love of travel and Irish dancing and has attended feis (Irish dance competitions) all over Europe including Latvia, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, and Romania as well as all over the UK and Ireland. Travelling is highly encouraged at London Academy as Erin believes it brings new, fun and exciting experiences to dancers and helps to promote Irish dance in areas where the interest is still building. London Academy now offers classes all over London for dancers of all ages (including adults) and abilities. The academy focuses heavily on making Irish dance a fun and interesting way to keep fit and for those who wish to do so may compete and will be provided all the support they need to reach their goals.

I don’t come from a dance or sports background, and originally trained as a textile designer. I still design, so now combine my love of printed pattern, with my fascination with people’s movement patterns. So I’m no stranger to what sitting at a desk staring at a computer screen does to your body. And how I long to stretch and move after a day of that. I first came across Pilates about 16 years ago in my late 20’s, when I felt it was about time I started exercise of some sort, never having been ‘sporty’ or a fan of the gym. I wasn’t sure what to expect from my first class, but I did like the sound of improved muscle tone and length. I soon discovered there was a whole lot more to it than that. Although there are many physical benefits, the reason I returned after that first class, and keep returning to my mat after all these years is simply how great it makes me feel. Energised and relaxed at the same time, and definitely walking taller (a bonus when you are only 5’ 4”!) I’m certain that doing Pilates has kept the niggling aches and pains of age at bay; has allowed me to do all the other things I love with ease and grace, and has left me feeling stronger and healthier now than I did when I first started. I completed my teacher training with Body Control Pilates in 2008, and since then have loved watching the changes in my client’s bodies and their enthusiasm as they learn, and I have also learnt so much from them in return. I am a supervising teacher for BCPA in Edinburgh, helping to train new teachers, so there may be a student teacher and an extra pair of eyes to assist you in your class!

If you choose to take driving lessons with me at Ignition, then I will be your driving instructor. I am a highly experienced, fully qualified, approved DVSA driving instructor in Nottingham. I was trained as an instructor in 2004 by the largest national driving school in the UK. I am proud to say that I have taught the essential skills of driving to hundreds of people over the years, giving me extensive experience in the field, as well as a story or two to tell. I have coached many people from all walks of life. One of the things I enjoyed most was giving blind people the chance to have a go at driving, whilst on a charity day for the guide dogs charity. My driving career started when I was 8 years old, racing go-karts. I have always had a passion for cars and driving, and I still enjoy getting down to the local go-kart track. I also like to push my driving skills to the limit wherever I can and have many experiences behind the wheel, ranging from driving off road, through rivers and deep mud, rally driving, skid control, drifting and even stunt driving on 2 wheels! I also have a Caterham Seven that I enjoy driving on the road and on track days. Driving on a race track helps me to keep improving my driving skills and it’s great fun! I have driven on some of the top UK race circuits such as Silverstone and Donington. My other love is music. I used to be a House music DJ for many years and have played in numerous venues. I love going to Ibiza and music festivals such as Glastonbury.
