The Rose Arts London was always a childhood dream of mine and it was manifested through a pain in my life, with the loss of my Grandad; Charles Alexander Gardner. He, alongside my Mother and Nan, supported me with my dance and drama training, performance career and attended all classes, auditions and performances. When he passed away, it pushed me to embrace my artistry and passions. The Rose represents three things: A dedication to my Grandad; His favourite flower A name influence; My middle name Rosetta and my mother Rosemarie The flourish of each child who trains with us. As a seed they begin but as ‘The Rose’ they grow. Experience My training began at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and have been training in every discipline, since the age of 3 and teaching dance and drama since the age of 14. Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Liturgical, Street Dance, Jazz, Commercial and Musical Theatre. Further to this, I attended college studied Performing Arts, obtaining distinctions in the art form, allowing me to receive an unconditional offer to University, where I obtained my degree in Dance Practice and Performance. I have had an extensive career in the arts, through stage, film and television and have received such amazing opportunities I am truly grateful for. About T.R.A.L. T.R.A.L. is a place for all Rose Students to discover, train, explore, create, challenge and motivate what they learn here and to ignite their passion, of why dance, drama, sport and song is such an amazing artistic outlet, which not only teaches creativity and utilises talent but also discipline. The role of the arts builds character and self-esteem and at The Rose Arts London, one of the assets that I hold as an important part, is the family friendly atmosphere.This delivers a guarantee from us, that our space is a positive and productive learning environment, where our students can grow, most importantly learn, and create in an energetic, confident building atmosphere. Students are able to discover more about themselves artistically, gain new friends and be proud to be a part of The Rose Arts. Myself and our teachers, who have work(ed) within the industry, aim to continually make The Rose Arts London a success, with the passion we hold and with which, our goal is to impart our experiences, knowledge and love of the arts to our students. I have been blessed to be able to open a school, attended by such passionate students, to be able to witness how they will develop in years to come. For whatever reason you decided to take a leap with us, whether it to be a creative outlet, confidence builder, opportunity to meet new people, train to become a professional or all the above – I expect all to work hard, train hard, practice, be respectful, be challenged, but most importantly enjoy every moment of the journey.

Fox Wood Forest School was founded in April 2016 and registered as a not for profit company in November of the same year. The following aims are at the heart of what we do: to support both physical and mental wellbeing of all participants through time in nature, adventurous play and connection with others to encourage children and families to connect with nature through play and exploration, so that they might be the ones to protect it in future to create a haven for wildlife within our local community Meet the team - All of whom live locally in Roydon and Diss Ange - Director - Chair Forest school leader, teacher and mother of three. I am passionate about giving children the opportunity to learn through child led play. I taught for seven years mostly in Norfolk, I loved the buzz and excitement of working with children, but was frustrated by the constraints of the school curriculum, so after a break to have children I explored other avenues. Through Suffolk Wildlife Trust I discovered Forest School - I had finally found what I wanted to do! What I love most about Forest School is seeing children gain confidence, resilience and independence. Watching the look of determination on their faces as they persevere with something challenging and seeing their pride and smiles of joy when they succeed is really special. I hold a Level 3 qualification in Childhood Studies and I have worked with children and families for 16yrs+ in a variety of roles including; Nursery Nurse, Play Worker, SEN teaching assistant and Education Officer. I became a Level 3 Forest School Leader because it encompasses everything I’m passionate about, play and nature! Child led play is so important to help develop confidence, problem solving and resilience. Forest school promotes this with a connection to nature, encouraging learners to explore and be adventurous with freedom. Both my boys have benefitted hugely from forest school, improving their wellbeing and independence. I love to see them fully engaged in the natural world and confident to try new things, unplugged and free to play! I believe that fitness classes should be both effective and enjoyable! You should see results in both your physical and mental health and have fun while you’re exercising and really look forward to your next class. I have been working in he fitness industry for about 12 years and have experience teaching fitness in leisure centres, gyms, schools, care homes and village halls. I am passionate about what I do; I love how exercise makes me feel physically and mentally and I really enjoy sharing this and helping my participants to achieve their fitness goals, whatever they may be. I am qualified in a range of fitness options including Exercise to Music, Gym Instructing, Indoor Cycling, Zumba, Zumba Gold, Aqua Zumba, Kid’s Zumba, Kettlebells, Fitness Pilates, Fitness Pilates for older adults, Level 3 Pilates, Pilates for Orthopaedic Conditions, Chair Based Exercise, BuggyBeat and Children’s Fitness. I love taking new fitness courses and believe passionately that, as fitness professionals, it is important to keep things fresh and continue to learn and update our knowledge and skills, to provide quality fitness experiences for participants. The vast majority of the classes I teach are now online. I love the flexibility this brings my participants and it's the perfect place to bring creativity into my classes. Not hiring halls, means that I can keep costs low for participants and offer a wide range of classes for excellent value for money. I am currently teaching the following classes online: HIIT, Strong Nation, Lift Lean, Fitness Pilates and Zumba Gold. I also teach a weekly bonus class, which could be any sort of class from aerobics to stretch.
