WELCOME TO IN-HOUSE TRAINING COLLEGE. Training specialists in career development for young people and adults who wish to develop and enhance their skills in hair and beauty therapy. In-House Training offers opportunities to study NVQ Qualifications from Entry Level through to Level 3 in Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Bridal Course to include Media-Makeup and bridal hairstyles as well as functional skills and GCSE in Maths and English. The centre can facilitate a female only class with female tutors, vital to its success in meeting the demands of diverse communities and changing lifestyles. Centrally located the training centre has a passion for meeting the challenges faced by young people and those seeking to enhance their job prospects. The centre creates an environment which removes barriers to success and creates self confidence and self belief in the community it serves as it strives for excellence in its approach to offering learning opportunities at all levels . Disadvantage is not a barrier to learning; it is a spur to greater achievement. We deliver training services shaped carefully and personalised to suit the needs of individuals or groups. Our tutors and mentors are friendly, effective and reliable, responding with integrity to the needs of students and clients. Public transport is available every 5 minutes from our training centres and we are 15 minutes from the M1/M62 corridor. Evolution Jujutsu is a training program that is designed for practical personal protection in ‘real life’ situations. Our aim is to develop confidence, co-ordination and the skills necessary to avoid or manage conflict. With our training you can learn how to confidently defend yourself in as little time as three months. Members train with people in their own age group so they can learn appropriate techniques and have fun. Evolution Jujutsu runs 5-7 years, 8-11 years, 12-17 years and adults classes throughout the week. Please check our timetable for more information on class times. We believe that you should have fun while you are learning, and that goes double for our younger students. Amica Aesthetics was set up by its owner Claire Raby in 2015. After working in the field of semi-permanent makeup for many years, Claire always had an interest in Aesthetics, being a natural for attention-to-detail, and knowing what's aesthetically pleasing to the eye, she knew she would be a natural with the needle. Claire completed her training for dermal fillers & anti wrinkle treatments in 2015, and has since then gone on to complete many advanced aesthetics courses & masterclasses. Over the years she has never stopped expanding her skills. This enables her to offer the best service possible to clients. Claire has had years of experience in aesthetic injectables on all areas of the face, including offering facial contour packages the “Liquid Nose Job", PDO thread lifts and more. Claire decided in 2019 she wanted to share her expertise with other people going into the Industry, and went on to complete her teacher training. She now runs an AWARD WINNING fully accredited training academy in North Leeds. Claire has built up an excellent reputation, and 90% of her clients come from recommendations. I am a passionate educationalist, with a particular focus on helping vulnerable children to succeed in education or any activities that provide them with an opportunity for success. I have over 20 years of experience; as a Primary Teacher, working and managing teams in Youth Justice, supporting schools as both an Education Safeguarding Advisor and LADO (responding to allegations against staff), most recently as a Virtual School Head focusing on Children Looked After and Previously Looked After. I can support the adults in your early years setting, school, alternative education provision, or sports or activity club to ensure that they can best respond to the needs of the children in their care. I hope to inspire empathy, curiosity and kindness. I am trained in Emotion Coaching and can deliver this alongside other training or stand-alone. With a psychology degree, a PGCE with educational psychology and extensive continuous professional development; I am able to combine theory and the latest research, to ensure up to date and evidence based practice. As an NLP Practitioner I can offer coaching and supervision, as an AIM Associate I can deliver training specifically created for education professionals around understanding and managing Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence, meeting the requirements of the latest KCSIE guidance around peer to peer abuse in schools, and I am trained to deliver the Safer Working Consortium's Safer Recruitment training.
