The aim of Sports4tots is simple; to give as many kiwi kids as possible the opportunity to have a go, have fun and learn new skills. The kids in our weekly classes have fun playing games that focus on kicking, catching, throwing and balancing at age appropriate levels. We know you’ll love seeing your child’s confidence and ability develop week by week. Ball fun in class Energetic indoor games Group activites with friends Lee Edwards – Director In the UK, Lee was a semi-professional footballer for over 15 years and coached tennis to 5-12 year olds for 10 years. In 2005 he immigrated to New Zealand with his family. As a stay at home dad of two young boys, Lee dedicated his time to keeping them active and healthy. He was constantly looking for playgroups and classes that would introduce his sons to fundamental sports skills and encourage their new kiwi lifestyle. Unable to find what he was looking for, Lee used his own sports experience and knowledge to develop the Sports4tots program. Lee volunteers at his local football club where he is the midget and junior convener, responsible for 5-12 year olds. You’ll also find him helping out with his kids’ water polo and touch rugby teams.

My story starts with the toughest year I had ever experienced: A miscarriage at 11 weeks having had menstrual issues for 20 years & subsequently suffered with mental health problems. I was signed off from work & for that year I focused on me. Exploring a variety of alternative therapies, waiting and wanting to be fixed. I also put my mind to projects around the home and garden, which became a sanctuary for me and our cat Moo, and we became therapy for each other. But all of a sudden, it was as if the universe was listening to me & heard my plea, I’d found hope and faith that there was a reason to continue; dōTERRA came late October, and Reiki and Crystal Therapy came mid November. These both gave me the holistic medicine tools which I'll carry with me for life and have since evolved into a low-waste, low-tox, and rather empowering lifestyle. So I welcome you to my site, to my life & to how these methods, products and habits have genuinely re-routed my journey. We’re also business leaders, heads of our respective companies and fervent believers in a greened future for our world! We’ve come a long way since first arriving in London all those years ago, and the journey was well worth it! We’ve learned a lot – both about ourselves and about the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle. Being the head of a London cleaning company means learning the ins and outs of the entire cleaning process – research the methodologies and looking into the various cleaning solutions, used within the field. Reading up on the dangerous side-effects of most detergents sparked Antoaneta’s interest and she began researching different approaches to commercial cleaning. There simply had to be a way to get good results without putting the employees or clients in danger of chemical exposure. Eventually, one thing led to another, and she realized she was no longer interested in the subject merely from a professional standpoint. It was no longer just about efficiency and work ethics. She had discovered her passion. She began looking for ways to not only stay safe but also protect the environment and those close to her.

Engaging, enabling and empowering vulnerable people to regain control of their financesClean Slate is a not-for-profit organisation set up to provide financial education and support to hard to reach vulnerable people – originally to those battling drug and alcohol addiction. Financial difficulties can exacerbate issues for those fighting addictions and make the recovery phase more difficult. Our service was set up to provide free, confidential face to face support to help; not only ‘wipe the slate clean’, but to educate people so that they can manage their own finances effectively, and not fall back in to the same financial problems in the future. WHO WE ARE 01_icon Financial Inclusion for All Our services have been designed to work closely with members of the community who have encountered financial difficulties due to lifestyle choices and prevent the likelihood of relapse, for example, into former drinking and substance misuse patterns, which impact on their financial position in life. Working a lot with service agencies such as Changing Lives and Crisis, as well as housing providers across the region including Derwentside Homes and Cestria, it has become apparent that much of what we offer is equally applicable to help the wider community.
