Sara is a 'Accredited Coach' offering 1:1 coaching sessions and workshops to build your coaching and leadership skills.  Sara also started her holistic journey in Reflexology in 2011, and has built upon this foundation with Clinical Aromatherapy, Reiki, and Sports Therapy amongst other complimentary skills. As an enthusiastic and perpetual student Sara is keen to share her knowledge gained from being inquisitive and curious.   There will be a range of exploratory taster workshops offered on line at introductory prices. These provide a chemistry session to test if my teaching and facilitating style works for you.

Aileen spent four years working as a Counsellor for both Crossreach, Glasgow and two years with the Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Foundation, Manchester. Prior to her counselling career she was employed within the homeless sector and a Macmillan Cancer Support funded programme. He is a Fellow (FCIPHE) of The Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineering and previous Chair of the National Standards Committee for Solar Heating at BSI. He regularly represented UK at attends CEN/CENLEC & ISO technical meetings around the world. He has sat on the MCS steering group and working groups and has been a MCS inspector. He has previously worked with the Berlin-based Renewable Energy Academy (RENAC) in the Middle-East and has been leader of the Centre for Alternative Technology's Graduate School of the Environment (GSE) solar and wood-heating courses. Handle With Care Training Ltd was started in 1994 by Philip and Janet Norcliffe, as a small firm absolutely committed to the delivery of the highest quality Health Care Training and Education. Philip was then a Senior Lecturer in Nursing Studies at the University of Sheffield, with special responsibility for Moving and Handling training. He has since retired from the university and now works full-time for Handle With Care Training Ltd. Our business is customer focused, responsive to the employer’s needs, carers’ needs and the users of the service, from front of house, accommodating customer needs and delivering tailored courses in a timely manner to a professional standard. We deliver training in a learner-friendly way to service users, their families, volunteers, home care staff, carers and nurses. Courses range from one hour up to five-day courses, in people’s own homes, our own training rooms and employers’ own premises, from a one to one in a service users home up to groups of 12.

I studied Graphic Design at Newcastle Polytechnic, now the University of Northumbria, graduating in 1984, working in graphic design practice before returning to Northumbria as a Senior Lecturer. My return to printmaking (first so enjoyed as a student when I was never happier than when in the print room) was a gradual but consistent process until my move to rural Northumberland where I now have my studio. After fifteen years teaching I now make prints and offer occasional workshops in my riverside studio, creative days with a small group of enthusiastic students, and in addition to these, I also work with other organisations to run workshops elsewhere. My background as a graphic designer undoubtedly influences the way I work. I am a printmaker inspired by plants and natural forms - the garden therefore, is a key source, but colour, structure and pattern in landscape draws my attention too. The process of printmaking itself though is there at the top of the list of drivers - along with all other printmakers, that thrill of 'lifting up the paper', the big reveal, is a joy (most of the time). Drawing underpins my work - it is where many of my prints begin, in sketchbooks, and the processes I choose which allow me to incorporate drawing in some form or other. The riverside studio in which I work, in rural Northumberland, is rich in inspiration.
