John Chilton School is a mixed Community Special School funded by Ealing Local Authority for pupils aged 4-19 years who may have moderate to severe learning difficulties as a primary need or as a dual diagnosis to their medical or physical needs. John Chilton School is unique in that the main part of the school is located within the all age Alec Reed Academy (ARA). This enables pupils form both schools to integrate and be included as needed. The Phase 2 department is temporarily placed at Wood End Academy in Greenford. John Chilton School has a bespoke building for three classes with additional facilities of a hall, therapy room, sensory room, cookery room and medical support. Specialist staff and therapists working across both sites linking them and ensuring the excellence of the whole school provision. The school building is fully accessible for pupils with disabilities. Facilities include a hydrotherapy pool, therapy suite, food technology rooms, sensory room and a medical room. There are dedicated playgrounds for pupils with a variety of outdoor toys and zones; a large part of these playgrounds has a safety surface. The courses, seminars, lectures and conferences at the Leadership Training Centre are designed and facilitated to support the formation and development of Christian leaders in their various practice of ministry. The Certificate in Ministerial Studies(CIMS) courses are open to Pastors and Church leaders from all Christian denominations. CIMS courses provide learning opportunities for effective Christian service within and beyond the local church. We continue to work in partnership with a selected number of theological institutions and organisations such as The Queen’s Foundation for Ecumenical Theological Education, the Pentecostal Theological Seminary (PTS) and the Association of Christian Counsellors’ (ACC)). Partnership with PTS enables us to facilitate a Certificate Programme for Church Leaders and a UK MDiv cohort which should appeal to those who wish to advance their theological studies particularly in our Pentecostal tradition. The CIMS course, Helping People in Crises, for example, has been extended to incorporate the ACC acclaimed ‘Pastoral Care Foundation Course’ and provide an opportunity for those with a heart for pastoral care to sharpen their perspective and skills to become more effective in the care of people in their churches and local communities. We welcome every Pastor and key leader within the New Testament Church of God and other denominations to take advantage of our provision to enrich your personal and ministerial development and enhance your practice of ministry.

At Hoofprints we rehome and rehabiliate welfare horses. When they come to us they are withdrawn, often very underweight and weak, they require alot of understanding and ptience to bring the best out of them. This takes months. We have since rehomes over 21 horses in the last 9 years. “It was a delight to visit Hoofprints today and witness its fantastic works. Lucy and her volunteers do a wonderful job, not only in teaching local children and adults to ride, but also in rehabilitating and caring for horses in dire need of care. “Lucy has a wealth of expertise and it was clear that the invaluable instruction she imparts is filling youngsters with an enthusiasm for riding which hopefully will last a lifetime. However, the team there know as well as anyone that riding lessons, even though Lucy’s charges are competitive, are beyond the pockets of many people. Her particular ambition is to reach out to youngsters with learning difficulties, mental health problems or who simply come from low income backgrounds but would love to learn to ride. “I do hope that Lucy is able to secure some funding from charitable sources to make this possible, and I greatly look forward to following the progress and development of this excellent riding school.” Quote from John Bercow MP
