Attendees of this course will be qualified to legally administer First Aid to those aged from infancy up to 18 years of age (If you require First Aid provision for those 18 years and over, you can add the Emergency First Aid at Work top up to this course on booking).
This course has been specifically designed to meet the criteria set by the Department for Education’s EYFS Framework and fully meets Ofsted requirements. 
Attendees will receive joining instructions to complete our GEM Blended Learning First Aid video training which is the first part of the Paediatric First Aid training which is to be completed before attending one of our face to face training sessions. Our video training course is intended to give an introduction into the course which will be built on when attending our face to face session.
All successful delegates from this course will be awarded a nationally recognised Ofqual regulated certificate that is valid for 3 years. All delegates from this course will also receive free access to our Annual Video Refresher Training each year, until requalification is due.

Our Blended Learning Emergency First Aid at Work course comprises of 3 hours Video Training and attending 3 hours face to face. <p>The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) strongly suggests that all first aiders at the workplace refresh their first aid skills and knowledge every year to ensure they are up to date with all the current health and safety legislation at work. In an emergency, this helps them to remember steps and information quickly, without hesitation, which is crucial for administrating effective first aid.  You never know when an accident at work will occur, so having an up to date expertise to deal with it efficiently is essential to ensure the workplace complies with the approved health and safety standards.</p>
<p>The course covers everything a first responder needs to know, including primary and secondary surveys, full-body examinations, the recovery position, performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and using Automated External Defibrillators (AED).
