We work in partnership with schools in order to better connect children and young people to the opportunities we offer, from taking part in performances to working with professional artists. We also support teachers to develop their own professional dance practice. We assist teachers to deliver high quality dance provision in their schools by providing training and support. Training is offered through both the Centre for Advanced Training programme and wider work with children and young people. We aim to support teachers to enhance the delivery of curriculum work in schools and enable them to develop their professional practice, better connecting teachers to the broader dance sector and dance professionals. We have developed resource packs aimed at teachers, practitioners and community group leaders to support teaching and delivery of creative dance practice. We work in partnership with local dance organisations and practitioners across the region to support work in schools.

Here at Summit Rocks we strive to help create adventures for young people. Our adventures are fun, engaging and aim to let young people discover new places, discover themselves and learn about their place in the world. We use a wide range of outdoor activities as tools to help our participants on their adventures and their road to discovery. Working as a team is a fundamental part of all our courses, so whilst your students are climbing up a rock face or paddling across a lake, they will be helping and relying on each other to reach their destination. Our adventures can last from a single morning or afternoon to a whole week! We can bring our adventures to your school or we can help you explore some of our amazing National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It all started in Berlin, Germany and was inspired by a group of young women who read the book “The way of the Empress” by Christine Li. This made them realise that ordinary girls can achieve great things. This book has been an inspiration and a live partner and tells the story of a poor girl, who made it all the way up to be the most powerful woman in an Empire. M∙prez Enterprise is an organization formed on behalf of women, children and young people in the fields of arts, culture, education, technology, communication, science and health. It supports them in their creative endeavors in those fields and other areas that affect them. The company is limited by guarantee since 2009, but has ran projects and activities in partnership and in a freelance capacity. We began a journey where M-prez Enterprise started organising events, produced music, created a radio show called Gheto Yuth Vibez and a TV show called Triple T. M-prez Enterprise’s original founders were: Tortie, Chaos and Drama, and Eve 1. Over the past years, M-prez Enterprise has formed international networks to be a resource that strives collectively to provide opportunities for various participants especially for women and young people. We engage participants through these disciplines and all the other areas that are for the benefit of women, children, and young people across the globe to transform their lives. The organization embraces an individual and interdisciplinary approach to arts, culture, education, technology, communication, science and health and will encourage closing the gap between those disciplines and supporting them in their participation, through a variety of innovative approaches, programs, products, and services. The Attic Theatre School, based in Trent Bridge West Bridgford, is committed to providing high quality vocational training for students aged 5 – 21. Our classes are designed to stimulate creativity in young people, building confidence and developing performance skills. We provide classes in Acting, Musical Theatre and Dance in a friendly and professional environment which nurtures individual needs. All our practitioners are part of The Attic Team as they have a desire to inspire and share a love for the performing arts. With their knowledge and passion, The Attic students thrive throughout their training whilst developing essential tools required for the Industry.

Do Talk Write are a part time, alternative provision in Nottinghamshire providing bespoke education to young people who are unable to attend mainstream schooling. Our approach is tailored to each individual child based on their needs and we provide differentiated sessions matched entirely to each child’s needs. We use a mindfulness approach incorporated into sessions and often use art and creativity to allow pupils to access the wider curriculum. Our provision is flexible in the subject teachers and experience we provide, and we can work 1:1 in the home, in school or a variety of other appropriate venues.

Whenever we welcome new visitors into The Samworth Church Academy, they very often comment on the sense of positivity, energy and general friendliness you feel as soon as you enter the building. Our Academy is a special place which is only confirmed when you meet with our young people and the staff that support them. Lisa McVeigh The Academy was established in 2008 by joint sponsors Sir David Samworth and the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham. Their vision was to create an inclusive place where people and students come first and where students can be educated holistically as well as academically and leave prepared for a long and happy adult life – 70 plus great years. Our emphasis and exploration of our Christian values, as well as our membership of the international Round Square organisation, encourages students to ‘Be The Best They Can Be’ and to explore their own (perhaps hidden) talents and potential in a wide range of ways. Our beautiful and lovingly cared for campus houses a range of sometimes unexpected facilities including a climbing wall, high ropes course, Dance Studio and Drama Pod, a Combined Cadet Force, a fully functioning hairdressing salon and well populated animal care unit. We are also committed to delivering the best academic education we can for our young people and to training and supporting our teachers to be the best and most innovative teachers they can be.
