Supervising First Aid for Mental Health FAA Level 3 Award in supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF). Award in Leading First Aid for Mental Health at SCQF Level 6. This course builds on the Level 2/5 Award in First Aid for Mental Health and covers a wider range of mental health conditions. Goes into detail on the range of therapy and professional support that a person may be given by professional bodies during treatment for a mental health condition.

Care/Support planning will cover a range of topics including assessments, record keeping and managing information. The training will give your care and support workers the knowledge and understanding to effectively write a care plan for the people they support and ensure a clear log is kept ready for CQC inspections. This course is designed to suit a broad range of Care Sector staff. This training ensures that learners are equipped with a sufficient knowledge of mental health disorders so that they are able to manage and provide a high standard of support to affected service users. Learners will also know how to identify the symptoms of different mental disorders, adding real value to any organisation to which they provide services to.

This course is aimed at anyone working in the Care Sector to improve awareness and knowledge of dignity and how workers can help protect it. Learners will understand their roles and responsibilities, a clear understanding of the 7 principles of dignity, and show an increased understanding of best practice for communicating with service users. Explore how dignity starts at the very top of the organisation with the manager and owner taking responsibility for ensuring their staff provide a dignified service. It will describe how care staff provide and the way they provide it, are the standard by which service users will measure whether they have been treated with dignity and respect.
