Debbie will teach you all you need to know to get started with your first knitting projects. Sessions are on 3 consecutive Thursdays (12th, 19th and 26th March) and the course fee is the total for all 3 sessions including materials. You'll make 3 small, fun projects, each one specifically designed to allow you to practice your skills as you learn. No knitting skills are required - Debbie will be starting right at the beginning. Have some experience or returning to knitting? This course is also a great refresher. What you will learn: * Casting on * Knit * Purl * Increase * Decrease * Cast off * Finishing and seaming * How to follow a knitting pattern * Tension (gauge) and why it matters * Tips and tricks for avoiding common mistakes (and how to fix them!)
