Hi, I'm Bec and welcome to Voyage MCR. A place where we can work together to provide you with the tools and confidence to take on life's journey. Since I can remember, I have always had a passion for helping and supporting others. This passion, along with my strong interest in both the conscious and subconscious mind, mental health, and psychology, have led to my journey as a mindset and wellbeing coach. I was once told, 'find passion, find purpose' so that is what I have done. I was an eager psychology student with a dream of becoming a clinical psychologist. I completed a Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology and went on to complete a Master's degree in Clinical and Health Psychology. In between both degree's, I completed a mental health placement in Sri Lanka, went travelling around parts of Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, and worked and lived abroad. However, as time went on and as my mind opened due to all of these experiences, I realised the 'dream' of becoming a clinical psychologist, was in fact never my dream at all. Although I gained valuable experience within clinical, my true passion has always been positive psychology, which teaches us the power of shifting one's perspective. This realisation led me to complete a practitioner and master practitioner course in NLP and hypnotherapy and find my purpose as a coach. My goal now is to help others let go of their limiting beliefs, transform their mindset, build confidence and resilience, improve mental wellbeing and give people the tools to lead a happier and more fulfilling life. Remember, your thoughts create your reality, so together let's make your mind a safe and positive place to be.

The importance of Mental health and well-being in children is being increasingly recognised. Children with high levels of well-being are happier, have stronger relationships, are more able to deal with life’s ups and downs and achieve their potential at school. Happier children = more learning! However, while we teach children how to keep their bodies healthy, we don’t always show them how they can look after their minds, so that’s what Mind Moose does. Mind Moose is a fun, digital platform that teaches children how to keep their minds healthy. Children go on a journey of discovery with Mind Moose and his friends as they learn how to look after their minds, keep their brains healthy, deal with emotions, develop resilience and flourish. The fun, interactive animations and activities are underpinned by theory and tools from the field of positive psychology and beyond.

We are an alternative to mainstream education and work with young people who have struggled to manage in a mainstream environment and for young people with very high Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs. IncludEd aims to provide a safe, stimulating and comfortable environment for students to increase their opportunities, as well as exploring new and interesting activities. We work with students as a whole and build on their educational attainment as well as their social and emotional well-being. IncludEd offers students advice on Careers, Information, Advice and Guidance, as well as offering individual advice on future choices and opportunities. Welcome to 4wellbeing, my website to show you the complementary therapies I offer to encourage you to gain a greater sense of wellbeing. I am able to offer Hatha Yoga classes, 121 Yoga sessions and Yoga Therapy, Mindfulness classes and a light touch therapy called the Bowen Technique. I am an experienced practitioner, qualifying as a homeopath 20 years ago, adding the Bowen Technique to my skills in 1999 and becoming a BWY yoga teacher in 2008 and have been practicing yoga for nearlly 30 years. I have just moved to Buxton in the High Peaks after having a successful practice in Kent based around Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells. I am able to offer yoga/mindfulness classes and Bowen Technique in Buxton, Glossop, Chapel en le Frith, and New Mills. I also like to offer these classes to charities supporting mental health, carers and young offenders, and work within schools teaching mindfulness.

Lads Like Us are a Manchester based non-profit organisation. Our journey started with a mission dedicated to informing the practice of professionals and organisations that had failed us as children and adults. We had to make something positive out of our lived experience, chaos and anger, in order to thrive. Shouting and screaming about failures and trying to hold people to account made us mentally ill. We needed to adopt a new approach that would help " Us and them " that was our first problem. In order to break barriers between " Us and Them " we needed to work out a way to weaponise the empathy of professionals to allow them to see that the majority of the behaviours displayed by service users/clients/citizens/people are a direct result of some kind of trauma experienced throughout their lives. These people we refer to are lads like us, from similar estates we grew up on, that are repeatedly presenting at mental health units, substance misuse services, prison and probation. The answer to our problem was to create a trauma informed training package focusing on professional curiosity that would inform practice, using little Mike and little Danny's experiences combined with the healing journeys of both not forgetting the input from the services that supported us. " The Million Pieces Experience " an NHS safeguarding award winning Trauma Informed package that has proven to inform the practice of professionals was created. We then partnered with Barnardos to create Million Pieces Trauma master classes. Lads like us deliver bespoke packages across the country and are now recognised UK wide as a leading Lived experience resource for organisational staff development for those who work with people who have experienced trauma. Lads like us work with leaders in the safeguarding sector both public and private through their consultancy work.
