Our Courses Offering face to face training, in the assessment of an unconscious person, effective Basic Life Support (BLS) and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). We can also incorporate into your training programme, Recognition and Treatment of Anaphylaxis, Paediatric Basic Life Support, The Recovery Position and Foreign Body Airway Obstruction. We offer CPD accredited courses, in line with The Resuscitation Council UK’s Guidelines, for the NHS and private candidates. We can provide the training at a time and place that suits you, or at our classroom led training in Central London. We recognise the importance of having a defibrillator nearby when there is an emergency. We offer a Risk Assessment for your work place or school, designed to help you identify how many defibrillators are required, where they should be placed, who is at the highest risk and who should be trained as a First Aider to assist.

A standard set of hygiene measures remain in place on all our first aid courses and we can accommodate workplace specific hygiene requirements on private courses where we send a trainer to your premises. Sherry firmly believes that the more people train, the better it is for individuals, families, workplaces, communities, healthcare and the social care sector. As there is a known chain reaction that happens when health or safety incidents strike – it affects everyone! Clare and Lucia have worked together for over 25 years. They met in 2001, working at The Royal Brompton Hospital and are still both registered nurses. They created Red Kite Consultancy in 2021, where their focus is a shared enthusiasm for BLS & AED training. They are both trained instructors and the courses they provide are CPD certified. They train healthcare professionals and the public and believe that everyone should have the skills to perform effective Basic Life Support and the confidence to use an AED.  The course they designed in line with the Resuscitation Council UK Guidelines includes; * Managing an emergency * Assessment of an unconscious casualty * Basic Life Support (BLS) * AED Training * Post Resuscitation Care Course duration: 2 hours (dependant on group size and any requested additional course content).
