Cutting edge training methods that are focussed on the learning process of the trainee, supporting the individual’s unique journey of exploration and adaptation, are a great part in what has caused BeeLeaf’s reputation and popularity to spread so far, so quickly. BeeLeaf is a Training and Accrediting Member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy. We enjoy the attendance of international delegates, from a wide range of cultural, social and professional backgrounds, who all contribute to what makes the BeeLeaf experience so special. BeeLeaf is a not-for-profit Organisation and was established in 1993 by Hypno-Psychotherapist and Trainer, Pamela Gawler-Wright, to establish a unifying identity for her therapy and teaching work. Pamela has designed and delivered seminars, workshops and training courses since 1986 for many local authorities and established Training Organisations, across the length and breadth of the British Isles. BeeLeaf is a response to the request of many of her clients, trainees and supervisees. People hungered for creative, practical and challenging Psychotherapy training in a learning environment that honoured in practice the presuppositions of Erickson, Satir, Perls, Bateson and Systemic NLP. Therefore, an independent training organisation was created, that grounded its work in the ethical and therapeutic application of Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy and Ericksonian Hypno- Psychotherapy. This approach has since blossomed into the modality of Contemporary Psychotherapy. Over the years, BeeLeaf has become a team of talented professionals with decades of collective experience in provision of psychotherapy and training, who have joined Pamela in this successful endeavour. Gill Turner, psychologist and Consultant, joined BeeLeaf in 1997 and assisted in forming the Foundation Certificate in Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy. The expansion of activity required the input of a new Managing Director and in 1999 Mandy-Jane Herring, an experienced Educationalist and Manager led BeeLeaf in another evolutionary leap. Not long after this Julia Lloyd, Graphic Designer joined as a Non-Executive Director. BeeLeaf’s team has since grown and is complemented by several other experienced and talented professionals in the field, all of whom bring something very special to the whole training experience.

Power The Fight is an award-winning charity which aims to be the conduit between communities and policy makers (see our Community Empowerment Cycle diagram above). We create co-produced/co-designed long-term strategies for sustainable structural change. Most of our work is with young people, families, schools, local authorities, faith groups and community organisations who want to be equipped to engage with youth violence issues in their context. We do this in a number of ways: 1. Training and Events At Power The Fight we have access to leading thinkers and practitioners from a range of disciplines working in the field of youth violence. Since the beginning of 2019 we have trained and equipped over 8000 organisations and individuals to make a difference to young people’s lives, including the NHS, schools, faith groups, charities, local authorities and more. Resources At Power The Fight we have developed resources to help organisations, faith and community groups to better understand issues relating to youth violence. These include specialist PowerTalks, links to helpful websites and toolkits. For more information go to PowerTalks or our resources page. 3. Building Connections At Power The Fight we bring community groups together with local authorities, services and other partners to promote mutuality, improve cohesion and effect change. Families At Power The Fight we support families impacted by youth violence. We do this in partnership, providing access to culturally competent therapeutic, financial and legal support. We have also developed our Therapeutic Intervention for Peace programme (TIP) which is now being piloted across London. TIP provides culturally competent therapy to young people, families and frontline staff engaging/impacted by violence affecting young people. Kanga Studio Nairobi comprises of a large studio space, beautiful gardens and therapy rooms. There are two bathrooms on site, one shower and storage available for your valuables during workshops, classes and therapies if you wish. All sessions at Kanga Studio must be pre-booked. ARRIVING AT KANGA STUDIO NAIROBI Please ensure you arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled session to allow time to settle down, and in case you have any questions beforehand for the teacher, you will get them answered. There is plenty of parking available at Kanga Studio within the compound and on the grass outside the gate. Kanga Studio provides yoga mats and props. You are also welcome to bring your own with you. There is a bathroom and toilet on site, and storage available for your belongings during your session. We welcome you to relax at the studio after your session with us. Complimentary herbal tea and water is provided, and a library of books to read.

Our mission is to bring 1 on 1 assisted stretching to the mainstream through a collection of neighbourhood wellness studios across the UK where our trained Stretchologists work with clients towards flexibility and mobility goals. StretchLAB aims to make stretching a regular part of self-care routines in the UK through an accessible price point, convenient locations and unrivalled client experience. WHY STRETCH YOURSELF WHEN WE CAN DO IT FOR YOU? Stretching for 50 minutes is a big ask for anyone. Visiting StretchLAB makes the process enjoyable, but more importantly safe and effective. Our expert Stretchologists will take you through various stretches while doing all the hard work for you – building your flexibilty and range of motion leaving you loose and relaxed. WHO SHOULD GET STRETCHED? Assisted Stretching is for every age group, every lifestyle and every body. Whether you’re a gym junkie, desk based office worker, or even a couch potato, everyone can benefit from stretching, and stretching correctly. WHO WILL BE STRETCHING ME? All of our Stretchologists have bodywork experience and are certified in our proprietary stretch method. They come from a variety of backgrounds, including personal training, massage therapy, yoga instruction and professional dance. They are then complete our in house- training with our Director of Education and Head Stretchologist before under going many hands-on practice hours. WHEN SHOULD I GET STRETCHED? Any time is a good time to get stretched! Whether pre- or post- workout, or whether you just need some time to focus on yourself and recover. If you are feeling stiff it’s a great way to get yourself moving again. A pre-workout stretch warms up your muscles, can reduce risk of injury and boost your performance. A post-workout stretch speeds recovery by flushing out metabolic waste, increasing blood flow and lengthening muscles that have just been contracted. On top of it all it’s super relaxing. WHAT TO GET STRETCHED We can take you through a series of stretches that focus on the entirety of the body. This is a great way of getting started. As you work with your Stretchologist together you will be able to identify areas that need extra attention and show them the love the deserve. Alternatively if there is something you already know needs some attention just let us know! WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? Anything you are comfortable in, and isn’t too restrictive. What you would wear to work out in is a simple answer. Your Stretchologist will move you into some open positions so please ensure you are concealed. You won’t get sweaty or need to shower. We do ask that our clients wear a fresh pair of socks, which we also have available for purchase in the studio.
