Wing Chun Self Defence has been teaching Wing Chun, Kung Fu, Tai Chi and meditation to young people and adults across London. Our martial Arts programme helps to improve mental and physical health. There are multiple benefits that can be gained from becoming more active, as well as getting fitter. Members of Wing Chun Self Defence will also develop a set of martial art skills suitable for street Self Defence. Our vision is to improve the health and wellbeing of the community. We provide classes suitable for adults and young children (age 5+); we are a friendly and relaxed club where you can begin your own journey to discover a range of Martial Arts disciplines such as Wing Chun Kung Fu and street survival techniques. Our different programmes will enable you to learn Street Self Defence through the study of Wing Chun Kung Fu whilst durably improving your health with our Chi Kung and Tai Chi practices. Our belief that any country’s economic and social development hinges on the opportunities for young people to learn and to develop relevant skills was the motivation behind AEI’s formation. African Education International was established in 2012 to invest in, and to operate, private schools across Sub-Saharan Africa. AEI brings together a team of experienced professionals led by Andrew Whittall, a Zimbabwean. The team has been on an extraordinary journey over a very short period of time: we have secured in excess of USD50m in funding with which we have built and now operate 6 schools and a teacher training academy in the North West of Zambia, and through our foundation, we currently support 50 government schools in this region. We are proud to be educating over 1,500 students across our schools, and impacting tens of thousands more through our teacher education and school improvement programmes. We employ more than 180 staff members. We have already made a tangible difference, but there is much more to do.
