The Czech School Without Borders, London, is a charity and a company limited by guarantee whose purpose is to promote education in the language, history, geography, art, culture and heritage the Czech Republic. The school was originally founded as a small art club for Czech-speaking pre-school children by the artist Zuzana Jungmanova in October 2007. Zuzana has a long-standing interest in creative art activities and working with bilingual children. In 2009 the initiative developed into the Kids’ Art Club and the same year the Czech School Without Borders, London, was established as a part of an international project Czech School Without Borders which has branches in Paris, Munich, Brussels, Dresden, Rhein-Main, Geneva and Zurich.

They felt they, and others in similar situations, could benefit from a group where they would be able to talk, share experiences, and provide support for each other in a non-judgmental environment. Since that time, the charity has evolved to provide a range of sessions and services. First Step currently works with over 100 pre-school children, and families, offering support, information, and encouragement. First Step’s mission is to provide the best possible environment to support each family and to enable their very young children with special needs and/or disabilities to maximise their individual potential.

Coaching will be provided for all levels, the children will develop technically and improve their social skills for later in life. GO4GOALS football sessions cover the following age groups: Age 2-4 Boys & Girls (Pre School, Nursery & private sessions) Age 4-11 Boys & Girls (After school clubs, private sessions, birthday parties and school holiday camps) GO4GOALS offer 1-2-1 specialised coaching. This is to work on various techniques, speed, strength, agility or any areas of improvement required. GO4GOALS offer PPA cover to all Primary Schools on a fixed contract or temp basis. Jaybee was established 18 years ago by Julie Ewenson who had always had an interest in gymnastics. With her 2 daughters training at elite level Julie decided to begin to build a club and a gym family for recreational gymnasts. Her aim was to get more children involved in fun gymnastics. She began in a small hall with 3 classes a week,. 18 years later Jaybee are one of the most successful clubs in the area with an incredibly strong elite team, 10 floor and vault squads, 4 pre-school classes and almost 20 recreational sessions throughout the week. We offer before and after school clubs to many of the schools within the borough of Havering which have been going for well over 20 years! At Jaybee we offer 1 hour recreational classes throughout the week and over the weekend where gymnasts are able to learn skills on apparatus such as floor, vault, bars, beam and trampette. We are also lucky enough to have an air track at both venues where all of our gymnasts get to bounce and learn to tumble. Our gymnasts are invited to take part in our annual in-house competition which is always fun, friendly, well organised and encourages light hearted competition. At Jaybee we pride ourselves on a friendly and fun environment for our gymnasts. The Alamiyah School stems from a project which began in 2005 with a determined group of home-schooling parents who were eager to create a positive learning environment for their children; one that would foster not only a love of knowledge but give the children a moral framework and nurture each child’s unique genius. The project was subsequently joined by a group of educational professionals and evolved into the Alamiyah Pre-school. We registered as an independent school (Alamiyah School) in 2017 allowing us to cater for school age pupils. The school now caters for pupils of age 3-11 years till the end of the primary age range. The Alamiyah School is inspired by the Prophetic Tradition and will use a curriculum infused with the prophetic stories, arts and sciences. The Montessori approach to early years is the framework upon which the school is based, thus creating an educational experience based on ancient wisdoms and modern discoveries. The Montessori approach creates an environment that offers each child the opportunity to express and develop their individuality and their innate need to learn. It is based on the natural laws of human development (fitra) confirmed by scientific advances and is therefore perfectly in line with a prophetic model for education. The curriculum is child centered, encourages independence and fosters empathy and compassion. The project is lead by an enthusiastic group of teachers trained in the Montessori approach, with many years experience with young children. Our teachers are professionals in their field and have a deeply rooted interest in education. Each of them has come to appreciate the importance of the early years learning in a child’s education and development.
