Welcome! At Oasis Hub Hobmoor, we are actively engaged in creating a community that is characterised by trust, safety, cohesion, mutual support, vibrancy, health and opportunity, where individuals feel included, connected and supported and in which they feel happy and proud to live. Our aim is to help to create a local community where people of all ages and situations feel included, know that they can contribute and realise a deep sense of belonging. Oasis Community Hub Hobmoor is particularly focused in the South Yardley area of Birmingham, and at the meeting point of three Wards: Tyseley and Hay Mills, South Yardley and Yardley West and Stechford, although it also works beyond those wards in a number of ways. The work of the Hub incorporates the formal education delivered by Oasis Academy Hobmoor and Hobmoor Community Centre, as well as a large number of community projects that are run alongside them to support students, their families and the wider community. The Hub has made a transformational change to the life of the local community in a number of ways. In 2018/19 the Hub worked with a total of 2,718 local people and had a total of 62 individual volunteers.

We aim to empower our community with the skills to live healthier lives; therefore healthier minds. We run regular away days for women, our parents and young people, where we teach them about mental health awareness, nutrition, holistic remedies and GOAL setting There is a mental health crisis in our school system and a huge increase within the last 5 years. Children are facing even more pressures than ever; exams, social media, cyberbullying and body image and need to develop skills to cope and succeed in today's world. We offer a safe and secure consistent place for vulnerable young people to find support. . OUR FUTURE LEADERS Who we work with One Step at a Time. We start working with our young people from an early age to ensure that we can follow through when building their confidence and self-esteem; especially when faced with challenges such as peer pressure, body image, mental health, and addiction. Our youth team helps to make all our courses a success. We use the skills of our Black community ambassadors, be-frienders, and arts awarded courses as a mean of engagement. With our youth, we use a unique approach to person-centred success. We encourage an holistic approach, making them aware of Black history, Black leaders and connections with the Black elders within our community. Our mission is to make a stronger and fairer world and to fight for equality.

The Macedonian Community Welfare Association (MCWA) is a statewide not-for-profit community based organization. Our aim is to provide a high quality and culturally sensitive service to the aging, elderly and people with disabilities of Victoria and provide wellness and re-enablement services through best practice and compliance. MCWA was pioneered by Mr George Kostrevski in 1983, after he identified a strong need to provide welfare services to the Macedonian speaking community in Victoria. Today, MCWA responds to the growing welfare-based needs of the wider community by providing services that focus on developing client care relationships based on cultural expertise that our customers know, love and are comfortable with. Through our trusted programs and with the dedicated support of our team members, we are able to build a culture of respect and diversity within the community, and give everyone the opportunity to experience a meaningful and fulfilling life. Community Youth London (CYL) is an independent music and media charity which manages a variety of community-based services and initiatives, the majority of which are youth-oriented and led. CYL has developed many approaches with the aim of overcoming barriers to access so-called ‘hard to reach’ groups using targeted youth support programmes, marketing campaigns, outreach and alternative activities. These expertise’s have been successfully applied to our services and proven effective in attracting young people who have traditionally shied away from other initiatives. Through our work with celebrities, popular artists and respected community figures, we have gained the trust of young people in many disadvantaged areas. As an alternative measure to historical behaviour orders and restorative justice programs, CYL has delivered a range of one to one plus group programs that have been proven to not only help young people leave but also to stay away from a life of crime. Our charity became operational in January 2007 and quickly gained a positive reputation for our targeted work with young people, our approach to diversity and our innovative services. Since inception, CYL has grown from a vision to a reputable charity with an impressive track record and a growing database of over 47,000+ young people who work in London and the UK. Taking a multi agency approach towards addressing the needs of young people who are often marginalised, excluded or hard to reach.
