The idea had been spurred on by significant cuts to public spending and the shift in emphasis for young people and community services to the development of social enterprise. Think Forward C.I.C. was created as the vehicle to provide services which benefit the local community, particularly young people and community groups.  The Team Steve Burns Steve has enjoyed a wonderful and challenging career in education for the last 22 years spanning the voluntary sector, social services, youth & community work, further education, and working with young people excluded from mainstream schools. His experience includes four years within a managerial position in a pupil referral unit in Blackpool. Steve is committed to life-long learning and has so far undertaken a MEd in special education, a post-graduate diploma in youth & community work and certificates in counselling, careers guidance, life-coaching and a Master Practitioner qualification in NLP. Buzz Bury Buzz is a qualified Youth and Community Worker with more than 28 years of experience ranging from club and issue-based work to management and staff development. He has significant experience in project management, particularly specialising in supporting art and creatively based activities and is an established and valued European Youth Work Trainer within the “Youth in Action” programme of the European Union. He has demonstrated innovative training delivery in the fields of “Youth Participation” and “Global Citizenship” as well as supporting international volunteer initiatives. Sharon Phillips Sharon has 16 years of experience working in services for young people, both in career guidance and in a leadership role for Integrated Youth Services provision. In her previous role at Blackpool Council she was the strategic and operational lead for training, development & accreditation for Blackpool Young People’s Services. Lolita Asil was born in Istanbul. After graduating from the Painting Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts (1991), she did her Master’s degree at the Institute of Social Sciences of the Mimar Sinan University . She carried out stage decor, design application works and made murals in amateur theaters. Influenced by Leonardo da Vinci, she began examining and painting the human body in terms of anatomy. She has attended cadaver studies in the Anatomy Department of the Medical School in Marmara University(1996-1997). She initiated her thesis on “The Relationship between the Human Body and Painting” for the proficiency in Arts Program at the Institute of Social Sciences in Mimar Sinan University(2000). Atlas Magazine’s September issue, titled “Body File”, covered her texts and paintings on the subject(2003). She has participated with her solo exhibition and seminar at the “Nature Festival” which was held in Harbiye Military Museum. She has taught students on the exceptional student program at the school Hasan Ali Yucel Education Faculty in Istanbul University. She has participated in autopsy studies in the Department of Forensic Medicine at the Medical School of Istanbul University. She wrote the texts for the file titled “Leonardo da Vinci” for Atlas Magazine’s 2005 January issue. She has organized a performance, together with pianist Anjelika Akbar, in the Harbiye Military Museum, under the scope of the Nature Festival (2005). She arranged a reception for her 20th year in art during which an exhibition was held and a documentary on “Lolita Asil” was presented(2011). She reliesed a “Video Mapping” at the Yapı Kredı Kazım Taskent Culture Center in Istanbul. She has introduced a new sculpture named “ETERNITY” at a reception held at Su Ada, in Istanbul(2012). She has participated in the Contemporary Art fair in Istanbul, showing a solo exhibition. She wrote articles about art in several magazines such as Paros, Atlas and others. She has presented her “UNIVERSAL” installation work at Istanbul Leather Fair during the event “Art Meets Leather”. She has reliesed her own exhibition and film titled “EXISTENCE” at the Seed Sabanci Museum(2014). She continues her painting and art lessons with students from different age groups in her studios in London and İstanbul.

Dr. Steve Wolf, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY 10230), in private practice in West Los Angeles. After teaching Anger Management for five years, he was recognized as having diplomate status with the National Anger Management Association (NAMA) in 2005; which he currently holds. He has been an innovator throughout his professional career. He co-directed New York City’s first Prison Therapeutic Community Program in Rikers Island Prison’s Psychiatric Ward in 1973 and directed Rikers’ first Therapeutic Community Drug Program for the general prison population in 1974. He directed a Day Treatment Center in Litchfield Connecticut, volunteered with the L.A. Sheriff’s Department to co-create Project Turnaround, an Acupuncture Detox program on L.A.’s skid row. He co-created an alternative middle school in Topanga, CA, co-authored “Romancing the Shadow: A Guide to Soul Work for a Vital Authentic Life” (Ballantine, 1997, translated into six languages), and developed “The Village Circle Project”: leaderless groups for self-exploration. He consulted as a Co-Occurring Disorders therapist in Los Angeles working with men coming directly from prison, jail or the street for five years. In 2006, he authored the “Taming Your Anger” series of English and Spanish workbooks, DVD’s, C.D.’s and workshops. He recently taught the Taming Your Anger/Emotional Intelligence Method to at-risk teens and has produced a documentary film of that program. In 2010. he founded the Wolf Training Institute, which serves as the umbrella for all the programs in development. This is where the practitioners are certified to teach and coach the Taming Your Anger, Taming Your Anxiety and CouplezWork Programs. The Taming Your Anger Program is recognized by the National Anger Management Association. In 2012, he produced the documentary, Remedy 4 Rage; the story of one alternative high school group and their journey into exploring their own emotions. In 2014, he began to host the weekly “Shrink Different Radio Show” on the TFOK Network. He has interviewed celebrities and regular people who have interesting lives. The show is about people and their passions. He maintains a therapy practice, working with adults and couples in West Los Angeles. The next book is on the evolving couple and is scheduled to be released in early 2020.

The Custom House and Canning Town Community Renewal Project … is a charity established in 1994 and is based in the refurbished old St Luke’s Church building in Canning Town. Our mission is to develop and manage self-sustaining local groups, community-controlled assets and a range of activities and enterprises for the benefit of the local people. The Charity obtained St. Luke’s for a peppercorn and organised a £2.25 million refurbishment which created 4 floors of spacious offices and amenities. Rent from the offices and the Abrahams nursery building makes the Charity self sustaining and provides a regular if modest sum for charitable activities. The Charity is governed almost entirely by local people. We are passionate about deepening our knowledge of the traditions that have brought so much wisdom and joy into our lives. We consider it an ongoing lifelong process. Establishing and facilitating this relational practice in London and throughout the world I have expanded my interests and understanding.
